I'm just going to say what everyone in the neighborhood already knows, nobody wants these tiny sandwiches for $12. Everything is too expensive and nothing is good enough or portioned well enough, its just that simple.

After only having a brunch and dinner Baba had become my favorite place in the neighborhood. Both food and service are outstanding. I like the atmosphere a lot, I felt as if I was transferred to a local bistro in the heart of Paris.

I've been twice now and have to say they make a damn good sandwich. There are a couple things to keep in mind. The first time I had the pork loin sandwich and it was easily one of the best I've ever had. I feel like $11 was more than it should cost, but definitely willing to splurge from time to time. Today they had porchetta instead of the pork loin. The skin was not crispy, just impossibly chewy. I had to cut it (and a huge amount of fat, maybe 20% of the total "meat") out of the sandwich. Otherwise it tasted amazing. However, it cost $15. Really? And you don't even give me chips or a side salad?? I know the restaurant business is hard but I'm not sure raping customers' wallets is the key to success. Definitely not worth $15. That I will surely not be ordering again.

A wonderful addition to the local restaurant scene! The food is superb and the atmosphere is spot-on perfect. Great cheeses and charcuterie, not to mention fantastic cappucino.
