Best falafel
I read other reviews and had to laugh.. It's true I've seen the owner be less then pleasant to customers but he's always been more then charming with me and Im pretty sure it's because I'm cute and female.. Oh well.. I feel like it's kind of in the vain of the "Soup Nazi" The food is superb but keep it short and sweet when your order lol. He has the very best falafel sandwich in town what makes it so good to me is the fluffy soft pita and the condiments including Israeli pickles and he layers the sandwich so its not just falafel with the stuff all on top you get good flavor distribution with each bite! Yum! Also great soups.

Poor customer service
I ordered beef kebab on pita. There was not a lot of customers but I finally got my order after 20 mins of waiting and being asked 3 times what it was that I ordered. The owner was grumpy and somewhat unpleasant during my short encounter. The food itself was not disappointing, though I felt the portion was too small for the money.

Great sandwich
It is pretty small but very tasty, made with a little of this and a little of that. The old guy behind the register is a crafty guy who is often grumbling about something. Like all of his type, I usually ignore him and just pay.

Just like they say
Great food but not cheap and the owner is of the type you expect to be rude but he takes it to a new level. I can see how people could even avoid this place because of him. Btw, I had the same thing happen to me with exact change when I bought two sandwiches and tried to pay with a $20. If he doesn't like change why doesn't he charge flat? He doesn't take CC either for tax reasons so you are stuck penny-pinching with him.

best falafel, mean owner
I work near the place and the food is impeccable. The falafel platter is to die for, but when the owner is around, the experience is rather unpleasant. He is very grumpy and ignores the customers in line. When I gave him a $20 bill for my platter that costs $10.34, he got very angry that I didn't have exact change. He threw up his hands angrily, mumbling: "what am I supposed to do with this?" I mean, it's not like I wasn't paying for the meal!! In the end, I literally had to borrow 34 cents from someone else to appease him!!!!! If only the owner could be more pleasant, I would go there more often....

Delicious falafel
I've been there twice. Falafel was fresh, well spiced, delicious. The owner was very nice and polite both times I was there.
