Just went there. Ordered the organic tomato salad. Tomatoes at this time of year should be awesome and ripe. These were hard and needed at least another week to ripen. The entrana (skirt steak) was OK, nothing special. The service at Azul is underwhelming. The waitresses who work there seem so totally bored! Our first one just plain disappeared half way through our meal and finally after 15 minutes we got another one. It took 30 minutes to get our bill at the end. Azul is an attractive place, but it is expensive and just not that great.

I used to love this place, because of the simple argentinian style menu, now is way over priced and kind of pretentious. Maybe they changed the chef? and what happened with all the cool people who used to work there? I'm not going back unless they revert the quality to how it was originally....

Please try the meat: mix grill & skirt steak are so tender, empanadas and ceviche incredibles ! The girls are so cute !

$9 Unlimited mimosas with Brunch.. Best brunch in the lower east side. Delicious Argentinean food, delicious wine, delicious vibe........ I love this place, Best empanadas, best skirt steak and best dulce de leche!!

I used to love this restaurant and went there several times every year. Recently they have changed the quality of the meat. It is possible they have changed the chef. I'd not go back unless they revert the quality to how it was originally....

On a Saturday night I walked in trying to get a table in a empty restaurant. The hostess tells me to have a drink at the bar while I wait for it to be ready. She then after waiting 15 minutes says she might not be able to seat us... We need to wait another 10 minutes. So we wait(just 2 of us). The as we are about to be seated after waiting 20 minutes in an empty restaurant she says, can u make sure you will be done in an hour???? We left, the hostess iscompletely lost as to how to run and seat a restaurant. It's really unfortunate, as the food is great. Again, tonight I tried again with my bf to have dinner, and yet again the same woman! This time she says to call around the time we want to go to have a table. I do this and she says, well your best betvis to come when you want to be here. I tell her now??She says, well try in 30 minutes, we save tables for walk ins, then she says and come another 10 after 8:30 because we will start giving away tables. What is wrong with her....does she understand how planning works!? What a complete waste of time.
