    Good sushi

So it's not the best I have ever had, but it is absolutely one of my favorites, while staying in the area, I order from here 3 times. Always well prepared, fresh, ample size, I really enjoyed their food! So if you'd like a quick bite of good sushi, and happen to be in the neighborhood, give it a try!

    So good for a budget

Great sushi and free white wine or sake, what more do you want?

    Love Azuki

My friends and I go to Azuki probably about every other weekend for delicious sushi and sake before going out. If you order more than $15 worth of food, you get free sake which is a great value. The food is always excellent - we especially love the Passion roll and Azuki roll - the best part is, it never ends up being more than $30/person which never happens in NYC.

    Manhattan roll is awesome.

Okay... I live in the neighborhood, so here is my biased local opinion. I like Azuki. It's one of my favorite tiny Sushi places to go to. They have free sake when you order in and the food is good for delivery as well. The decor is pleasant and the staff are nice. Yes, the fish is not at the level of Nobu, but in all honesty, the nigiri and sashimi I've had there is pretty good. And some of the special daily fish have been really delicious. The rolls are the real winner here though. They've got a lot of great, creative rolls. If you decide to go, get the Manhattan roll. That's my favorite. Hope this helps.

good of you go, terrible if you order

I have gone to Azuki several times for business lunch's and the sushi has always been very good. By no mean was it the best but I tend to eat higher end sushi and I had no complaints. As stated by the previous reviewer, the delivery fish was AWFUL. Its like they use yesterdays fish for delivery and use the fresh fish in the restaurant. Is that even possible? All I know is when I go its very good but my delivered sushi lunch is in the garbage and was flat out disgusting.

    Subpar sushi

Basically supermarket level sushi. Fish was all soggy if not fishy tasting. Spicy rolls were mostly non-fish. Salad comes with a container of dressing hidden underneath the lettuce, difficult to deal with. All together, not that good, do not want.
