Excellent
We had the best meal of our trip at Azalea. The service was wonderful, the people were very gracious. The food was outstanding. The value was also excellent. NYC, like everywhere else, continues to increase in cost. We had an excellent meal for a fair price. That is not easily found in NYC or anywhere for that matter these days. Bon Appetite!

Awesome PreTheater Dinner Restaurant
Great location and meal before going to broadway show!

Convenient Pre Theater
Had lunch prior to seeing Wicked. The location couldn't have been better. Two out of three lunch dishes were very good- Fusilli and Chicken and Seafoodm Ravioli. The Chicken Milanese was incredibly dull and didn't have much taste. The service was great. We did have to complain about little things floating in one water glass. We were running short of time prior to the show, so for that reason only, I would go back again- only if time were short.

Don't Bother
Dinner: Fusilli Azalea...Pasta was Rotini and overcooked, some of the chicken had grizzle attached, not much taste. Dessert: Apple Pie w/ vanilla ice cream...more like an apple cake which was slightly burnt on the top and then overheated in the microwave, ran out of vanilla so got chocolate ice cream. Staff not very friendly, waiter very unattentive. Skip this one, don't waste your money!!

A nice find in the theater district
Try the gorgonzola-pear souffle over melted parmigian cheese...excellent.... and finish with Tiramisu and a cocktail known as "PINK"......whatever you have for dinner inbetween will be memorable, whether it is the sirloin steak, risotto with mushrooms or pork. Right next to the theater where WICKED is playing. Very attentive service, too !!

Disappointed
My husband and I visited this restaurant for our 30th anniversary. What a disappointment. First of all they seated us outside litterally in a parking lot entrance although they had nicer tables out front that were only being used for people drinking. The service was not good - the waiter was rude and unattentive. The food was not good either - I left with a stomach ache after eating pasta w/broccoli and chicken (the chicken tasted really strong). My husband had Salmon and although it was good, the vegetables served with it were not. The salad I had not tasted good as well. We opted for desert, since we were still hungry, and ordered the chocolate/banana/carmel concoction which we left sitting on the table. That was the most subpar desert we have ever had. Anyway, I gave the waiter a debit/MC/gift card and he came back and told me there was no balance on it. I knew I had never used the card and it was more than enough to cover the check. I gave him another credit card and when I got back to the hotel, I checked the balance on the gift card and it was $100 which was just enough to cover the check/tip.

This place is not amalfi Italy
My Wife and I looked forward to eating at this resturant as it advertised Amalfi Italy food.I had veal and Shrimp .the shrimp was fingernail size and the veal was not tender. My wife had a pasta dish that was dry and unflavorable.. Seating for 2 is crowded as tables are squeezed in so close you have to move when another party is seated next to you. The desserts are just passable with a souffle that is small and uneventful ......the banana bread is ok but nothing to write home about......There are many fine resturants in the Theatre District, however this is not one of them.
