    Best burger UES

Delightful hamburger is a real meal, thick and juicy and actually cooked the way you order it. I wish they all were this good. The appetizers are good and interesting enough to put together as a meal by themselves. Stuffed mushrooms and shrimp cocktail are fine. The menu is still evolving.

    Food

The best burger I have had in a long time. I also got to listen to great music.

    Disappointed

I was so excited to have a new tapas place in my neighborhood. We went on a Thursday night. It was pretty empty but not completely dead. We were prepared for some teething problems with the service since the place is new but the problems we experienced went beyond teething problems. There was a big sign outside advertising happy hour beers. The waiter did not know which beers were on happy hour but went to find out...fine. However, when the bill came the beer was charged at full price. In addition, the charge for a glass of sangria was more expensive on the the bill than the menu. The sangria was not good. A tiny glass and not tasty. We had mushrooms stuffed with cheese, which were terrible. They were burnt and had little/no cheese in them; they should not have left the kitchen. The tortilla and paella were ok. We had a Groupon which we gave in with our credit card to pay the bill. Previously, the tip had not been included on the bill but when they gave the groupon discount, they added a large tip without telling us. After already having to argue the prices for our drinks I didn't have the energy to dispute the tip and paid. Long story short, really medicore food, dull atmosphere, bad drinks and bad service. Won't be going back. Bummer.

    Disappointed

My husband and I have been here twice: once for dinner and once for dessert and both times we left disappointed. This past time, when we were there for dessert, ordered coffee and churros. The coffee came out cold. There also also hardly anyone in there and no one else had ordered food. It took a very long time for our dessert to come out and when it did the melted chocolate that came with the churros was not completely melted. This place has great potential to do well, but I will not be returning.

A brunch to make your weekend shine

I had brunch here not long ago and I'm glad I stopped in. I had the Vegetable Scramble Eggs and one glass each of their two special brunch drinks. They make a few of their evening menu items available for their brunch, so I added the Fried Spanish Olives and the Ratatouille. The eggs were wonderful, so light and fluffy and the diced vegetables were done to perfection within the eggs! The side of potatoes was very tasty along with the included toast squares -- warm and lightly toasted. Mmm. The olives were a genuine surprise, lightly battered and fried with a savory acridness, tart yet mellow . . . and the ratatoulle was exceptional! The special brunch drinks -- I wish I could remember their names -- were a delightful alternative to any standard brunch sangria. The man who waited on me and my friend was warm, friendly, and an entertaining server who was attentive and considerate and very helpful with our questions about the menu and preparations The plates came warm, too, which was very nice at keeping our meals warmer longer so we could chit-chat. The price was affordable and the atmosphere was very conducive to enjoying my friend's company and our dining. I'll be back!

    Great food, great service

Had two tapas plates here - the chirruscito and the baguette with aioli, avocado and parma ham. Both were absolutely delicious with very generous portions. We also enjoyed excellent service. The bar tender was very friendly and happily recommended a great wine which went perfectly with our tapas. Aza is well worth a visit. We are planning to go back this weekend!
