Shrimp pad thai takeout was the poorest pad thai ever--dry and tasteless. Wish I could get my money back.

The service is nice and friendly, but that's it. I found the sushi was not fresh. As a warning, don't bother ordering any of the exotic a la carte items, like uni. The smell was off and the taste was unappetizing. Also, I found their ramen noodle soup to be way too salty. Will stay away from this place, for sure.

The first time I ordered from Ayama they didn't have what I ordered. The second time I ordered from Ayama they didn't have what I ordered. The third time I ordered from Ayama they got my order wrong. Don't get too attached to the menu.

Best Ginger dressing on the UES! They also have brown rice which is hard to find in the neighborhood.

Ordered a thai dish (Panang curry) and Miso soup. Service was fast and the food was delicious. The low price 7$ for lunch special made me skeptical but I still decided to try it and was pleasantly surprised. The portion was pretty decent and I had to get a to-go-box since I couldnt finish all of it. Have to go back to try their other entrees! Worth every penny.

Because I work about 3.5 blocks away, a co-worker of mine introduced me to this place and now I am in LOVE. Last week I ate lunch there two days in a row. Wasn't a sushi eater until last week. Bento box is worth the cheap price. Their Shumai is good!

Literally everything on the menu is perfect, regardless of whether its Japanese or Thai. The sushi is the best you can get. All of the other sushi restraunts in NYC instantly lost hundreds of dollars after my first order here.
