    Not worth it...

Forget about the food, the slow service will put such a bad taste in your mouth the food is irrelevant. Get ready to wait HOURS for drinks and if several more for the food. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere else.

    Better places out there

Much better ethiopian out there! I ordered the veggie combo platter and all of the vegetables were soaked in oil and watery. There was no consistency to the food and it tasted so bland.

    Great Job Bogesh!

Since I've adopted a child from Ethiopia one of the AAI friends showed to the restaraunt where I met a good-looking owner named Bogesh. Ethiopian food isn't the best but I liked going underground. Except our party was making the noise. The owner works hard, and makes great Ethiopian food. The service was good

Great food but inconsistent delivery service

I wish I was eating yummy Ethiopian food instead of writing a bitter review :-( I love their vegetarian dishes, but their delivery service can be annoyingly flaky (some days they just don't deliver; today the delivery girl went back to the restaurant when she couldn't find a parking space, and they never called because my number was out of state, and the people on the phone aren't the friendliest.) Guess that's what I get for being lazy.

    I've had better...

Service was poor, waiter didn't seem to care. 1 waitor for a full house... food was okay but portions were small and i was left with more injera than stew. Wouldn't go back. I have eaten at dozens of Ethiopian restaurants across the US and make my own Ethiopian food.

    OK food, poor service

We came expecting a nice meal, and we did have one - but the service was substandard. They are way understaffed - two people working the floor, and when our food was finished, they took 20 minutes to bring our check to us. Not coming back here, even though the food was fine.

Amazing food that's worth the poor service

I've been wanting to try Ethiopian food for a long time and this experience made me want to have more. This type of food worked very well for both my wife who has celiac and Candida, and her friend who is vegan. Now there are two conflicting diets. My wife tried the raw beef that was delicious. It was also some of the most spicy food I've ever had. She loves spicy and this hurt even her. But behind the flames was an incredible amount of flavor. Our friend had a lentil dish that was equally delicious, minus the meltdown on her pallet. It says a lot that I can rave about the food because the service was very poor. Our waitress was very nice, just over worked. Based on the other reviews, people like this restaurant. So the owner should know to hire more staff. I saw one couple leave after being seated because no one came to take their order. I waited about 10 minutes to get the check, another 15 to find out it's cash only (why?). Eventually my friend went to get money, come back, and pay with a small tip. Still I'll go back because it was too good.
