    A real treat!

I've been going to "Autour du Monde" on roughly a monthly basis for some time and I deeply hope this restaurant succeeds. The food is sublime, and clearly the place is a labor of love. Le patron has always been friendly and courteous and gone that extra bit to make sure it was an enjoyable meal. The dishes are carefully thought out and well presented. You really can't go wrong. Strongly recommended!

    i was in food heaven

i've eaten here twice, once for dinner and the other for brunch and both times the food was amazing. the food is so good that you don't even notice the atmosphere or the service, which is very relaxing by the way. thumbs up to the chef and the owner. def try the beef short ribs, lamb shank, whole wheat pancakes, french toast, home fries ... u get my drift. Every Thing Is Good ... even the burger :o)

    Delicious!

Food was great-- had the shell steak, eggplant appetizer, a bit of my partner's chestnut-mushroom risotto, and the pistachio strawberry cheesecake. Everything was delicious. Wonderful meal, good prices for the quality of food. Service a bit slow but you want to linger over the food anyway.

    The real thing

This is a great restaurant. Food is always fresh and well prepared. Excellent brunch and great french fries, and a super burger with all the fixings on really good bread. It's a neighborhood place, but better than most neighborhood places and certainly in this neighborhood! Don't be dissuaded by the construction currently happening on the street outside - inside the owners have d a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere with groovy music and decor. They're friendly and accommodating and dedicated to putting a fine meal in front of you. Dinner is pricier than brunch, but again, the food is really really good!

    best restaurant in Fort Green!

I love Autour du Monde! Wonderful addition to the fast changing area. The owners/servers/bartenders are simply amazing. Warm friendly atmosphere. The place is grand! Fabulous room for large parties. Wine list is simple and affordable. The food is certified organic and everything is made from scratch. I was there again for brunch yesterday. I had the best Croque Monsieur ever! It was delicious...so delicious in fact that i even considered ordering a second one! Loving the international concept! The food never disappoint. Im planning a big dinner party there this coming sunday and i cant wait!

    Amazing value

This is the best restraunt in Fort Greene right now. This place is really good, Short menus keep the ingredents fresh, and the quality of the dishes is high. The bread they serve with the meal is amazing. Entrees range from $13-19, and clearly outclass most of the other stuff avalible in the area. I heard the brunch is good too, I havent tried it yet. This place is pretty new, and hasn't caught on yet, so it is almost never busy. Go check it out before the yuppies take it over.

    delicious and babys welcome!

Delicious food, the best menu selections and baby friendly. We were there in 2 occasions, one for early supper and once for brunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and unpretentious and if you time your visit right it's also kid friendly. Is one the few places in the area that has ample space for strollers making it easy to enjoy a top notch, grownup’s meal, without leaving the little one behind! You MUST try the deserts, especially bread pudding like with cream! (don’t know the name of it)
