Very Surprising!
I Was Actually Walking To The Dunkin' Donuts Right Next Door When I Glanced At The Menu Outside Of Austin's, I Changed My Mind And Opted For A Western Omlette, The Chef Was Very Friendly, Very Attentive And The Overall Product (The Food), Was Overly Surprisingly Good! The Portions Were Large (Extra Bacon Was Crispy And Meaty), The Coffee Was Fresh And The Toast Was Actually Toasted Panini Style. Definitely A+ And Exceeded Expectations!

Miss It!
I used to work right across the street from Austin's. I would get the most delicious salads (made to order) for a very reasonable price. The soups were delicious as well.

Average Eats
I think Austin's is regular food. Not that impressive. Just ok. I don't like my food prepacked and cold...gives me the idea that it has been sitting in a fridge for days. I think for their prices they should prepare to order. They can be busy but so are other restaurants in the area. Also agree with the post about JAdore. Too bad they closed a few months ago.

Great Food!
I think that Austin's is a really great place to grab a salad or panini! They have some of the most amazing salads in NYC! I go there almost everyday! I definitely recommend it for a great quick lunch! Service is good and fast!

Better try the cafe next door.
If you're expecting a dimmed light, quiet setting, nice cafe then this is not the place for you. It's narrow and packed to the maximum. Most of the food is pre-wrapped and cold. It did not look appetizing so I went to the cafe next door - J'adore cafe. That place was the dim setting french cafe I was hoping for in the nyc area. It was comfortable and there were even couches to sit at. Service was great and so was the food.
