First bite transported me back to when I lived in Italy.
Fresh flavorful authentically Italian food. Our waiter and chef were awesome. As for price. Yah. It's expensive. Your in NYC get over it. Most good quality food here IS expensive. You want large portions of mediocre food go to Carmine's in the theatre district. This is real Italian right down to the portion sizes. Americans have gotten so used to super sized that they forget what normal is. I couldn't even finish my pasta dish and I can pack it in! Anyway, point is this place was perfect. And like my other Italian friend mentioned, I rarely eat Italian out bc it rarely tastes like Italy. This place however tastes like italy. E' buonissimo!

What a difference a chef makes!
Returned to reorder tagliatelle that I had rated a "9.5" last time, only to find it a "7" at best. The "sauce" this time was just olive oil. (And the bread tasted a day old.)

The best gazpacho I ever had!
Walked in on a hot hot afternoon and was totally taken with this restaurant! Charming and attentive service, food so good I asked my daughter if she was finished and could I have the rest of hers (the gazpacho with watermelon and cucumber!) to which she replied "Don't embarrass me"..lol! Wonderful chicken, avocado salad with unusual dressing. Can't wait to go back!

Delicious!
The last time i was here was about 3 years ago, the food is still GOOD. Love this place! Best Panna Cotta I've ever had. I ate the Duck Confit Hash & has French fries on the side. My friend had the Spinach & Goat Cheese Frittata....simply the food was absolutely FANTASTIC!! The guy who sat next to us had the burger, it looked so good I almost changed my mind about my order. This is a nice little gem on Broome & W. Broadway.

Perfect
In terms of Italian cuisine I am Bottega Del Vino guy but I was IMPRESSED with Aurora, I parked my car across the place and our eyes stopped on the facade of the restaurant, that's how we found it. My steak was med-rare impeccably cooked as commanded. My g/friend's pasta was a hit. Their lattes/cappuccino were excellent. Desserts as well. Service was polite and offered old-European sensibility. A truly rare find - especially in SOHO. A MUST!!!

yummy brunch
Had a great brunch with girl friends and we all loved our selections, Irish Salmon plate, Baked Eggs and a Pasta with Boar ragu. tough to find a quiet place in Soho on the weekend and this one hit the spot.
