What a difference a chef makes!
Returned to reorder tagliatelle that I had rated a "9.5" last time, only to find it a "7" at best. The "sauce" this time was just olive oil. (And the bread tasted a day old.)

The best gazpacho I ever had!
Walked in on a hot hot afternoon and was totally taken with this restaurant! Charming and attentive service, food so good I asked my daughter if she was finished and could I have the rest of hers (the gazpacho with watermelon and cucumber!) to which she replied "Don't embarrass me"..lol! Wonderful chicken, avocado salad with unusual dressing. Can't wait to go back!

Delicious!
The last time i was here was about 3 years ago, the food is still GOOD. Love this place! Best Panna Cotta I've ever had. I ate the Duck Confit Hash & has French fries on the side. My friend had the Spinach & Goat Cheese Frittata....simply the food was absolutely FANTASTIC!! The guy who sat next to us had the burger, it looked so good I almost changed my mind about my order. This is a nice little gem on Broome & W. Broadway.

Perfect
In terms of Italian cuisine I am Bottega Del Vino guy but I was IMPRESSED with Aurora, I parked my car across the place and our eyes stopped on the facade of the restaurant, that's how we found it. My steak was med-rare impeccably cooked as commanded. My g/friend's pasta was a hit. Their lattes/cappuccino were excellent. Desserts as well. Service was polite and offered old-European sensibility. A truly rare find - especially in SOHO. A MUST!!!

yummy brunch
Had a great brunch with girl friends and we all loved our selections, Irish Salmon plate, Baked Eggs and a Pasta with Boar ragu. tough to find a quiet place in Soho on the weekend and this one hit the spot.

Amazing!!
The atmosphere was wonderful. I went with my best friend for her birthday tonight and it was undeniably one of the best dinners we have ever had out. The intimate atmosphere is tastefully decorated and the lighting creates a very relaxing ambiance. Atmosphere aside- the food was EXCEPTIONAlL. From the tuna tartare appetizer to the pistachio ice cream-topped tart we had for dessert our tastebuds were fulfilled to say the least. To top it all off, the service was excellent. We were greeted by a host, our waiter, and even briefly spoke with a manager just to comment on what a wonderful experience we had

Not recommended
Seated right away with an 8:30 reservation on a Sat. night. Place was full but no one was waiting. Server was attentive but gave a disgusted look when we asked to add an appetizer after one was ordered already. Thin crust pizza was tasty. All four in our party ordered pasta dishes which were well prepared and tasty but embarrassingly small. Where do they get off charging $19 for fresh pasta with tiny pieces of veal? Overall, a poor value and not rushing to return.
