Great Thai place
What a great restaurant in the neighborhood.:) Great food, apps and desserts! Plus the delivery is quick...a great find. I recommend.:)

Just plain bad
Ordered the Cashew chicken which as most people know typically comes with chicken, cashews, dried red chilli maybe mushrooms, in a sweet soy sauce. The one I received had pineapple, carrots, onions, tomatoes and bell peppers in a tamarind based sauce. On top of that the chicken was grey and tough. A simply awful experience, and with so many decent thai sopts on 9th av, they weill never see my business again.

Great Lunch Special
Generous portions for our Pad Thai and Red Curry lunch specials. Both were delicious and at 7.95, so big that we had dinner too! Great deal! Definitely recommend if you like Thai food.

The Aura is back!
The time before last that I went to Aura, I too was thinking, "what happened?" The usual quality was not there. But I went last night, and, the food was just as good as ever - nice thick pieces of duck, fresh fresh veggies and lots of good flavor in everything we ate. I hope that it's not just a fluke and that they really took customers' input into consideration and brought back their mojo! This place has so much potential that I'm willing to do what it takes - even pay a few extra bucks - to get that same great quality.

what happend?
This used to be my fav Thai place on 9th but I must say I've been very disappointed with the food the past couple of times I went . Dishes are luke warm, barely seasoned and undercooked. The last tom ka soup I had there was basically coconut milk with raw mushrooms, way to much lemon grass peel and almost cold.....sad :(

Inflation of Prices
Aura just raised their prices, I just ordered a Red Curry dish w/ both chicken and fish and it was priced $16. Is that right? How can a hole in the wall type of place get away w/ inflating their whole prices? I'd rather go to a trendier place for that kind of price.
