Along with the atmosphere, which was romantic but not claustrophobic, the food was very good (especially the appetizers). The staff was cordial, considerate, and quick without being hazard. Leave room for dessert(s)!

Went here the night we got engaged to celebrate and we were treated so well by everyone in the restaurant. We had to leave New York the next day but will certainly be making a trip back as soon as we are lucky enough to return. Fantastic.

I find the food to be well-prepared, but a little underseasoned at times (the sea bass, for one) or oversalted (the rabbit). Since there's no salt on the tables, the restaurant needs to be more careful about taste of the plates. I also think the prices are a bit steep for the kind of food being cooked. I understand $24 for grilled sirloin, but is it really necessary to charge more than $12 for chicken?

This place was a secret gem! The restaurant is tiny, but there is a patio outside that will make top off the amazing aspects August has to offer. It was the perfect dinner before a night out on the town. Not only did were our meals/wine great, but the service couldn't have been better. Great for a date or just a casual dinner....you defintely need to try this place!
