Good food - rude waiter
I agree with the earlier reviewer that the waiter was rude. Very unusual, because I regularly dine out at NYC restaurants and haven't quite seen anything like this before. Maybe he was just having a bad day, but was interesting another reviewer had a similar experience. On the positive side, the atmosphere and food were good.

Auuuu Man-da-rin!
Best chinese ever! This place is no joke. We always get delivery. Tangy Spicy Chicken, Kung Pao Beef, and Geneal Taos Chicken. EXTRA SPICY, EXTRA SAUCE EVERYTIME. Great when hungover.

Poor service
I took clients to lunch today at Au Mandarin. The server was rude and it ended up being the topic of most of our lunch hour. When my client requested black bean sauce, he told her it was not very good, but it was up to her and gave her a hard time when she decided to order it. He took away our soup before we were finished, and took away the check before I even had a chance to take make cc back. It was not a good experience for my clients or I.

Quite good, could be a better value
The best chinese south of chinatown (and that includes the pricier 66) but portions could be a little larger and the menu hasn't been overhauled in a decade. You can't order shrimp, pork or veggie dumplings. For example, just a mix of the three. But, with the exception of the flavorless fried rice, this place has a very good lunch and, fyi, a gorgeous fish tank that's fun ot watch.

Best chinese delivery in the City
I have been ordering from Au Mandarin for years. Always first rate in food and service for delivery.

Great Place!
I've been there about 3 times, and I'm having a party there in about a month. I suggest you all go there and try it out!
