Not real Chinese food.
Do not order from this place if you are expecting real Chinese food. The food is bland and tasteless. Everything is cut into huge chunks and thrown together in a careless way. I suspect they are using MSG since I couldn't stop drinking water after the meal the the following day my face was swollen. The portions were huge, but unfortunately most of it was wasted.

Work and Live in the Area
They have great food and the service is always good. Sure your spending a little more but it is worth it. Always busy with outgoing orders. Very clean also.

delicious delivery
We had popcorn shrimp (thank to another reviewer's rating of it specifically) , spring roll, spicy and tangy chicken and sauteed beef julienne. All top notch. Best chinese I have had in 5 years of living in the area and the chicken was best quailty ever from a chinese restaurant. Hope this helps others.

Fantastic
This restaurant was fantastic. I was shocked at how great it was and the prcies were awesome. Wont break the bank. I work in the area so I can only afford to sit in for about 25 minutes. My friend and I picked this resaurant on a whim so we were pleasantly surprised. The service was efficient . The decor was beautiful. The service staff was pleasant and courteous. Now to the food EXCELLENT is all I can say. We had 2 different dishes and both were out of this world. Delicious not too spicy, flavorful and beautifully presented. So if visiting I suggest you make this one of your destinations. If you live in NY you HAVE TO dine here at least once in your lifetime. I would recommend Au Mandarin as one of the better chinese restaurants in the Financial District.

If you like oil for sauce
i ordered the shrimp with mixed vegetables assuming it was on the heallthier side. was i wrong. i literally had to drain the oil from the dish...and then was left without sauce. besides that, it was bland and tasteless. the assorted dumplings, however, were tasty.

Me Likey
I like the place, order from here all the time and it arrives in a flash. Sitting-in is even better. The place is clean and they serve you wearing white gloves and the food is on a silver tea cart! Some, if not the, best Chinese in Lower Manhattan....where the majority of places are, at the very best, sketchy, dirty and gross. I've never been yelled at but I can see it happening. Then, I would rather be yelled at and wait for my food...clean, fresh, food...than get it form the other places around here.

ugh
How can you get chicken and broccoli wrong? Heaviest grossest sauce. But the popcorn shrimp are good. delivery was fast extremely fast.
