Best Chinese restaurant in TriBeCa
Best soups, fish, meat and veggies. That includes service. My favorite Chinese restaurant in Tribeca.

No Longer the Best
Today for the 2nd time in a couple of weeks I ordered Egg Drop Soup and Fried dumplings. I have always been a big fan of this restaurants food, for the last 3 yrs. I recently noticed the quality and flavor are gone. The soup was like hot water with little flavor and the dumplings were old and reheated. Time to find a new place.

Poor Delivery Experience
I ordered dinner on the phone at 7:15Pm tonight. I was told the order would be delivered in 10 minutes. After 45 minutes I called, and was told the delivery person had already left. I called again at 8:15 and someone else told me he would research it and call back. 8:25 I called again, and got someone else, but the guy researching called on the other line. He told me they had no record of any order from me, and that I must have called a different place, since they wouldn't ever say 10 minutes. I gave up and called another place and now my friend and I are starving and a little drunk. This is probably my 20th time ordering and it will most likely be my last.

Love it!
My favorite chinese restaurant ever. I didn't even like chinese food until I ate here. My husband and I always order from here for our movie night food. Their shrimp lo mein, house special fried rice and general tso chicken is the best. There's always enough shrimp in the rice and lo mein which is something a lot of chinese restaurants are stingy on. And their delivery is exceptionally fast. Never disappointed.

A childhood favorite
My dad used to be a trader on the NYSE and lived in Battery Park City while separated from my mother. A short walk from BPC was the World Financial Center, the lobby of which lies the most memorable Chinese restaurant I have ever known. Bar Mitzvah celebrations (after, obviously), big nights out, a quiet meal with dad, or an amazing delivery, Au Mandarin always came through. The service is top-notch (helps when you're a regular, and have known these people since you were a child), food great (because they know how I like it), and atmosphere that of an old school Wall Street fancy Chinese restaurant--with aquarium and all. I love this place, and I recommend to anyone and everyone.
