    Grills, No Spills

Grilled chicken sandwich is excellent, and surprisingly hard to come by around this nabe. As a SoCal girl, I am partial to grilled chicken sandwiches and I'm glad they have them. Lattice fries great but don't bother with the onion loaf. Unless you get the half and half fries/onion combo.

Take a Penny, Leave a Penny.

They're renovating as of late July 2007 but are still open for delivery and pick-up. From past experiences, my advice is to never order (it takes forever and the food is always cold when it arrives), and, as past reviewers have mentioned, don't get anything except the wings and the fries. I find that sometimes the fried onions can be good, but a bit greasy. Don't try any of the Mexican items. If you stick to the wings, you'll probably find them to be quite good. I like to go with the 'Abusive' variety of sauce.

    A Little Taste Of Home

I moved to the city almost a year ago and the one thing I miss about my hometown (Niagara Falls/Buffalo) are the wings! Atomic Wings is the only place in NYC that comes the closest to the wings in Buffalo. Highly recommended!!!

    Not worth the wait

The phone is always busy and when they do FINALLY answer, they put you on hold for twenty minutes. If your really lucky, the wings are warm when they arrive (often up to an hour later) and don't taste overdone. They really need to get some better help at the East Village location because right now, it just isn't worth it!

    Best Wings Ever!

I grew up near Buffalo and recently moved to the city. I thought that I was leaving the wings behind forever...then a friend brought me to Atomic Wings and I could have sworn that I was back home!!! The sauce levels are amazing (6 different levels of hotness) and the wings were fried crispy just like they should be. I'm definitely putting this place on speed dial!!

Hands-down the best wings in the city

I'm a Buffalo girl originally, and I must say that Atomic Wings is the only place in the city that gets chicken wings right. The wings are fried to perfection (they should be a bit crispy!), and just saucy enough. The key is that they use Frank's hot sauce, not the disgusting orange goo you find on most wings here. The waffle fries are also excellent, and the service is great (the staff brings your food and buses your table, even though there's no formal waiter service -- and they're really nice!). Atomic Wings is highly recommended!
