I ordered food today and it was supposed to come in less than an hour, but it took one hour and 40 minutes. Plus, I had to walk 5 streets to pick up the food myself, because the delivery guy was lost and did not call me either. Very poor delivery service! It shouldn't be that hard to deliver food. If you're lost, ask for DIRECTIONS!!! Anyway, we got the food in the end and it was very tasty! Fix the delivery problem and you'll be even more successful!

I have been craving vegan soft serve ice cream for YEARS, and this place has finally satisfied me. I have been meaning to go there for well over a year but I just haven't found the time. The other day, my friend and I were in the area and decided to try the place out. We bought a cup of soft serve, three different kinds of cake, and coffee. Let me tell you, if we could have finished all of that, we would have. My previously anti-vegan-food friend now swears by Atlas. The service wasn't great and the guy messed up my coffee twice (I just wanted it black! Is that so terribly difficult?), but food and atmosphere definitely made up for that.

When it comes to food, I can be pretty picky and hard to please. But I must give credit where credit is due, and when it comes to food, Atlas is by far the best cafe in the world. It has anything and everything your heart desires, all at reasonable prices, and all of which is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! And as a devout patron for four years, i have never met anyone who disagrees. If anyone has complaints about the service, it's only because Atlas is so delicious, that it has become quite busy. My advice: place your order, pay, and thank the employees at Atlas for helping you have the best food of your entire life.

Atlas is by far one of my favorite cafes/ restaurants in New York. I often crave their sandwiches and desserts, and cannot find anything like them anywhere else in the city. My only gripe is that the service is slipping. They often mess up my order, or keep me waiting when I call for a delivery. Also, they sometimes forget ingredients. Maybe there are too many menu items, or the place has gotten too busy for them to handle, but whatever it is, they need some help. Other than that, the food is absolutely delicious and CHEAP - You'll never find anything else like it!

I can't add much more to the comments here about the food, except that the sandwiches are quite good too. The Tunisian Tuna sandwich is the best tuna sandwich I've ever had, and as someone who doesn't eat meat other than fish, I've had a lot of tuna sandwiches. The layout here is awkward, as space is quite limited. I would think twice about coming here with a group of people, and would likely stick to takeout. Now, about the service...I wouldn't call it rude, but rather, somewhat brusque. The European (or maybe South American?) guys who work up front don't smile a lot, don't ask you how you're doing, and are curt and to the point, which to Americans comes across as rudeness, but if you've traveled to Europe or Asia, you know this is much more common. Will add that some of the guys in back who bring out the food are much more personable. One time an order took a little longer than expected, and the guy from back apologized profusely, although it wansn't that big a deal. Hey, as long as I get my food in quick order, and it tastes this good, and at these prices, I don't mind if they don't ask me how I'm doing!
