I had eaten here at least 15 times over a 2 year period. If it wasn't for the pleasant atmosphere, inviting decor, and fresh, well prepared fish I wouldn't have gone back. But alas, the former couldn't overpower the shock each time the waiter placed the entre on the table. A portion control managers dream!! The portions are between 50-70% of the size of what every other resturant serves in Manhattan. A dieters delight, but be prepared to leave hungry.

Very standard place: standard crowd, standard menu, standard flavors. Very preppie/yuppie. Not cheap, and not very interesting.

Atlantic Grill was one of our favorites on the Upper East Side. However, on our last few visits, the portions seem to be getting smaller and smaller. The calamari used to be like none other- but, on our last visit, the edible amounts were not even enough for one person. My chilean sea bass seemed to be cut in half as well.

They have the best warm chocolate cake ever!

Considering their other sister restaurants, you would think that they would be more capable of expanding their fish offerings. It is really limited. What they do is good, But, boy could this upper east side neighborhood use more seafood (not sushi) restaurants!

The crowds, the noise. Unbelievable! Tight Busy Bar. The wait can be up to an hour, particularly on Thur. thru Sat. nights. The food is OK when it comes, but is it worth the hassle when there are so many other quieter places with better food in the neighborhood.
