    Excellent Quality

The three entrees we had were outstanding. The salad was quite small for $11. At a restaurant as such we had to ask the waiter more than once for water and the busboy was a bit rude. A bit expensive but definitely worth a try . We had the tuna, halibut, and chicken on the main menu

Good but not in the top tier

I have had approximately half a dozen meals at the atlantic grill. all of them have been fine; not great, not horrible. the prices are a bit steep but that is a reflection of the neighborhood. the restaurant fills up quickly so you do need to call ahead.

Great Service! Food Good - but Pricey

Had great service during my first visit to Atlantic Grill. Our waiter was extremely attentive & knowledgable. It was a great atmosphere, as we were able to sit outside and people watch - always fun! However, although the food was good, I found the dishes a bit salty - especially the sauces. We got the Crabcakes & the Big Eye Tuna. Crabcakes & Tuna was great, however sauces and vegetables that accompanied the dishes were completely over-salted. As mentioned previously - this restaurant is quite pricey - and not quite as in proportion to the quality of food.

Best Fish on the East Side

It's a large restaurant and busy every night. And there is a good reason for that. Locals know its the best fish and seafood on the Eastside. I am a regular customer there. There are efficient at delivering the food but call for a reservation, especially at popular times.

    Sunday brunch

I've been to the Atlantic grill twice and its one of my favorite places in the upper east side. The crab cakes are simply delicious and the dessert is incomparable. I forget the name but there's this apple banana cinnamon tower thingy... if u have room for dessert its one of the best i've tasted. Over all, the Grill is on the expensive side but its worth it.

    Overrated and underwhelmed

I guess my standards are a tad too high. I was surprised at seeing such a high rating for a basically overpriced average quality resturant. Money better spent would be to get in a cab or on the train and go down to another restaurant.

A favorite for seafood in the city

I especially love the crab cakes @ Atlantic Grill (made with Maryland crab - I'm from the Chesapeake area & find it difficult to see MD crabcakes on a menu outside of the region). Love the oyster selection, too. You can't go wrong with any oyster from Prince Edward Island. One of my all-time fav's are the Cap't Cooke oysters. One word.... Mmmmm!!!!!!
