went there for brunch couple of times and loved it. Dinner was nothing to rave about: beautiful menu descriptions behind mediocre food. The highlight of the evening was the service.

Had the best piece of fish in my three years in NYC so far here. The service was a little slow but that was okay, the food made up for it. I would definitely recommend it to others.

We went to Met Museum and planned to eat at a French Bistro on 78 St. however they were closed when we got there,so we walked to 3Ave. and saw Atlantic Grill.(No reserv)We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated in a very nice booth in the rear-She asked if we wanted outdoors but it was too hot & humid. Bread (brown & white ) and butter were brought right over as well as water.Husband has ceasar salad which I thought portion was small.but tasty - had a mustardy tang to it. I had mahi mahi which was very good and DH had combo of shrimp/scallops which DH said was good-each came with l side and 1 sauce-I had spinach and tom. salsa and DH had artichoke couscus and tartar sauce we each had coffee and one sodaand bill was $72. which we thought was a fair price for NYC - Food and service were very good and fresh would definately return when uptown

Atlantic Grill is just as good as its sister restaurant, Blue Water Grill. The food is amazing, the service responsive and it has great ambiance. Unlike Blue Water Grill though, they have crammed in too many tables, so you do feel a little on top of your neighbor. I would definitely recommend this restaurant though!

An amazing time always is had at the Atlantic Grill. The times I have frequented have included a celebrity spotting, an accommodating staff, a fun-filled night out, incredible food, delectable lobster, lasting memories.

Nice place but I expected better for the price.

My boyfriend and I enjoy trying new restaurants. We have eaten at Dos Caminos and Blue Water Grill, so since Atlantic Grill is owned by the same company, we decided to give it a shot on Valentine's Day. We went with a 9:30 reservation and were seated at about 9:45. It was nice because the host waited to find us a table that wasn't directly next to the bar and coat check area. We ordered a bottle of wine which was not cheap, but was really great. Our appetizers were fantastic - the crab cake was the best - but the scallops tasted great as well. For dinner we ordered the crab crusted filet mignon and it was unbelievable. I am not sure whether that was only on the Valentine's day menu, but i'm sure if you asked for it, they would probably make it any time. For dessert we ordered the banana ice cream tower and pistacio gelatto and they were both good. Really no complaints about this place except that they didn't bring us bread - doesn't matter though since we left stuffed! Great atmosphere, nice service and amazing food. Highly recommended. (Also pricey, so I would recommend going on a special occasion.)
