Wonderful Food
Went here for its proximity to Lincoln Center. We arrived early and sat at the bar for a drink. When we were ready to be seated, we were immediately shown to our table . The maitre d was quite accomodating. I ordered the beet salad as an appetizer and scallops for dinner. My husband had the raw oysters, suchi sampler and a salad. All of the food was excellently prepared and service was outstanding. My main complaint was $30 for 3 scallops was a little outrageous.

Why the small portions?
Had dinner here with four others on Saturday, October 27. We sat in the back room, which is much quieter than the main room, so we wouldn't have to shout to each other. Appetizers were fine. As for the entrees: one of our party ordered the salmon, but was never asked how she wanted it cooked; it turned out to be raw inside, which was not to her liking. Another ordered scallops, and received enough scallops for an appetizer, but not for an entree. I then realized that everyone's portion was too small. We were all reaching for more and more bread. It seemed the only way to feel full. Let me make it clear that only one of our party was what you would call an over-eater. I won't be going here again.

A very nice lunch
Nice prix fixe lunch. Soup was good, the taco appetizer excellent and the wine very nice. Mahi mahi somewhat overcooked but still very good. Dessert just okay. But the experience was really good.

great choice
I had dinner here last night, and it was my fourth visit. We have always enjoyed the food and the service is top-notch. The staff is well trained and it shows, from the person who takes your reservation to the one who greets you and the server. All courteous and professional. The food is one of the best places in new york for seafood and portions are generous. A truly special dining experience.

A good neighbor spot
Restaurant week is always a nice way to try something new. I have wanted to pop in here since it's right around the corner from me for awhile. Well..all was great. Service was quick and professional but I should add it was not busy at this time (Lunch). The food was fresh, hot, delicious and plated well for both me and my companion. I would suspect that it might get loud and cafeteria feeling if the space was fully occupied giving it's size and table arrangement. However, there are ample semi circle booths in the parameters that if snagged are a perfect compromise. Try it... I don't think you will be disappointed if you enter with this knowledge in mind.

a plus for Lincoln Center
Went recently for the first time. Although we try to avoid the area at "pre show time," we went for dinner at 6:45. Beginning with the person who took my reservation and continuing with the gentleman who greeted us and the waiter, all of the staff were courteous, professional and made one feel welcome. We were seated five minutes after the reservation time, had good service and excellent food. We will definitely be going back.
