    What a disappointment

    1. The curry chicken I ordered was not the curry it used to be at Park Slope location. It was nothing like traditional curry. I did not even finish. 2. The people at the next table by the wall had to seat bending to the side away from the wall because the TV set was there on the wall at the level of their faces and the table was very small. The distance between their and our tables was about 6 inches, and the woman had to squeeze through to get to her seat. 3. The "best" part. After I drank about half of glass of my wine, I found that there was something in my glass. Like some food particles. I called a waitress and asked what it was. She said, she did not know. She took the glass away from me. I would expect apologies and a new glass of wine. But she was not coming back. I went to the bar to find out what was going on, and saw her, trying to take it out with a straw, and then she took about whole 3 minutes stirring the wine in order to dissolve that garbage. She did not see me looking at her. She brought it back and said it was ice. I looked in the glass and saw that now smaller brownish particles were still there of course. I had to explain that the ice dissolves quicker and it tends to be translucent, NOT brownish. And those particles did not look any similar to ice. Only after my speech they brought me another glass. What kind of low standard of service is that?

    London in Brooklyn

Ordered the cod and the haddock fish n chips. Very good, large quanities. The menu has all sorts of interesting goodies. Very authentic. Go Arsenal! One tip though, the missus and I ordered sepearate fish dishes. Next time, just order one dish, a side and then you have room to experiment with the desserts!

    Like them Chips

As a non-fish eating patron, I still love this place! Great large portions, friendly staff, and everything you can imagine deep fried! Seriously though, this is the place to go with your friends for a nice sit down with a good beer at a relaxed pace. They have a full bar - my favorite is lemonade with pomegranate vodka, tons of beer, and a menu that makes you feel like Mom's in the kitchen. Enjoyable all around, one of my favorite places to eat in this neighborhood. Again, can't stress howcool the staff are - not in your face covered-in-flair, just laid back and helpful. Go there and enjoy!

    Great beer

This place has a great selection of beer and I love it. If you like English food this is your place. I think the food is tasty.

    Cute Place, Decent Food

Went here after seeing the sister restaurant on Fried Food Paradise. Atmosphere was cute, people seemed friendly. Fish and chips portion was LARGE and were as tastey as fish and chips could be. The best thing was the fried twinky with rasberry sauce. Yumm - it was my favorite part. We took our food out after having a beer and so it got a bit soggy. Probably better to eat to eat there. Next time I will try the other english items everyone seemed to be enjoying their shepherd's pie.
