Since the most recent change in ownership, this place has gone from decent to inedible. The food is just simply flavorless. They also skimp on everything. The meat and shrimp dishes don't have enough protein to satiate a chihuahua. They even pulled the hot mustard from the holy trinity of condiments- soy, duck sauce, hot mustard. This is the worst neighborhood in Manhattan for Chinese food, and this place pulls the bar even lower. Someone PLEASE open a decent Chinese takeout in my hood!

I ordered twice from this restaurant for delivery because I live far. I asked them if their scallion pancake have sauce with chicken to dip in. She said yes. I had a feeling I should NOT have ordered it. And their pancake was mediocre! it's not worth the money. And the second time I ordered. They either forgot or purposely did not put fried rice in my order...i want myfood correctly..! But value and service is fair to good. Certain foods taste good. others NOT so much.

This is the kind of place that has the same menu as thousands of other Chinese take-out places. Having said that. the food is better than most. It isn't overly expensive, and every dish I've tried has been a significant cut above the average hole-in-the-wall Chinese food place. I do not suggest ordering in. It does, in fact, take a bit of time to arrive. Ironic since their name is Asian Express. But, if you eat in, you can sit in a cozy, well-kept, interesting dining area. I can't really say anything negative about Asian Express other than the delivery service.

The first time I ordered delivery from here they took close to 1 hour..the second time about the same thing. When I called after waiting forever she discovered that she took down my number incorrectly...thats because you're so busy trying to get me off the phone that you don't even bother to listen and the food is mediocre regular chinese food you could get anywhere else. It would be nice if they could beat their delivery time of 1 hour since it is called Asian Express

You really do get the best bang for your buck here. The food is great, the service is speedy and always accomidating. It's a great option to have. I'm glad it's on my block!

This place rocks! I've only ordered for delivery, but each time, they are sooo nice and willing to accomodate you! You can get any of the dishes made healthier for you....and they don't mind at all...I will continue to order from Asian Express!

this is a great place to order in from. great prices, great food and their weight watchers menu kicks major butt. you can even order anything else on the menu weight watcher style.
