great $12.95 three course meal with wine!
We only went to this place because my friend bought a suit there way back in the 70s when it was a clothing store. Turned out to be a lucky find! It's our new go-to place. It was 9 PM but they offered us the Early Dinner special. For $12.95 we got a glass of wine, appetizer, entree, coffee, and tiramusu for dessert. You can hardly get lunch for $13 in this town, much less a three course meal! The food was delicious, and followed by a giant wedge of delicious tiramasu. Regular entrees are even cheaper, you can find entrees for less than $10 which is almost unheard of for the Village. They also have a page of $5 drinks that looked pretty good but we were too hungry to drink. Not sure exactly how the Asian theme fits in; we stuck with the Italian dishes. The music was rather terrible screeching R&B but other than that, the ambience is nice, Victorian meets Japan decor a little confusing but overall a comfy place to have a bite.

Chicken disaster
I just ordered for delivery from Asian 289. Chicken Marsala w. Steamed vegetables and brown rice.Completely disappointed, The marsala sauce was like soupy water, the mushrooms were canned quality. The vegetables were totally bland. The butter for the bread was sour. The best thing I got was the warm can of coke. And they forgot the brown rice! I was hungry now I'm disgusted!

Nice little spot
This spot has really good, big, cheap drinks, the best one is the 5 dollar mojitos. The only thing that I have had there that i do not recommend are the onion rings....they are literally fried onions. My friends and I always meet for drinks here. Its a good preparty spot.
