I have tried all the new and old sushi spots on the UWS... this is where you go. Don't pay attention to the earlier comment of "poor service" ...nonsense. The staff here goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and the foot is fabulous, at a great value. don't over think... Asia Kan is the place!

We keep falling into Asia Kan because the UWS Chinese food scene is so lacking... and every time we come away happy. I'm infatuated with the black pepper udon (I get it with chicken). Basil chicken is good too, as are the shumai. My wife flipped for the Iso Maki roll last visit. Delivery is super fast. The restaurant is never busy for eat-in, which makes me a little sad, because the decor is fun and the service is friendly. Ignore that the theme rips off Buddakan downtown and enjoy one of the better Asian restaurants in the neighborhood.

I order here all the time. It's quick, fresh and delicious. There are many options in the 90's but I really think this is the best.

I have eaten my fair share of sushi-it is one of my favorite foods and the fish here is fresh. My favorite roll is the black pepper tuna-it is absolutely amazing. Spicy shrimp roll is good. Even if you go with someone who isn't a sushi eater-the hot appetizers and cooked entrees are very good. Service is amazing, your glass will never ever be empty. A must try!

One night, I was really craving "sushi" (I don't eat fish, but will eat chicken or steak prepared in a sushi roll). I searched for restaurants with chicken tempura rolls or some sort of steak roll. No luck. A few days later, I received the menu for Asia Kan under my door and saw "chicken tempura roll." I had to try it. My friend and I ordered: the above, a salmon roll, edamame, and the beef negimaki. Unfortunately, we had to throw the beef negimaki out. It was not to either of our styles: too many scallions, the teriayki was weird. My friend said the salmon was good. I was very pleased with my order. The edamame was good, but not the best either of us have had. I have since ordered again, trying other things, and have never had a problem with appetizers except the negimaki. Friends who have joined me have liked their sushi. The other pluses for this restaurant are their quick delivery and the fact they deliver uptown. I live nearly fifty blocks away, but they deliver quickly and are friendly at the door. If you're in Harlem and you're looking for a good sushi place that delivers, I would make this your regular choice.

I have been living in Harlem for 4 years now and when I first got here I tried to find a great restaurant to order from. There are not many and the restaurants that did deliver were not good and, took for ever. I recieved a menu for Asia Kan and my husband and I were afraid to order, but, we took a chance and I am glad that we did. The food arrived no more than 15 minutes later and, it was great! We just ordered again and I ordered a dish that contained mushrooms. I can't eat mushrooms and I called to ask if I could change my dish and to my surprise, they said yes!! That's unheard of in Harlem. We could not believe it. Thank you Asia Kan. We will continue to order from you. We recommend you to all of Harlem.

We go here weekly and have been eating here for over a year. the service is great and the food is amazing. Fish is always fresh. The black-pepper tuna roll is a favorite, as well as the spicy rock shrimp roll. The cooked food is also always great. Never had a bad meal.
