Top Quality Sushi- Excellent Execution
We live around the corner- and are in Asia Kan a few nights a week. The cucumber sashi rolls are outstanding, the variety of sushi/sashimi is vast and always fresh- arctic char, white tuna, fantastic. The wasabi shumai will clear your head- the pepper seared tuna is tasty and the portions are good. I have been trying to work my way through the menu but cannot help going back to my favorites. Go there -you will enjoy

Best spicy scallop roll
The best sushi on the UWS. While they have pan asian cuisine (just ok), I think their sushi is what sets them apart. I've eaten in and taken out almost monthly since they opened. The food is always fresh and the service is friendly. My favorite is their spicy scallop roll, it's one of the best in NYC - fresh scallops chunks, bits of tobiko and lightly dressed with a NOT spicy mayo but delicious!

Highly recommend
I used to go here every weekend because the food is amazing especially the salmon mango roll. I'm very picky when it comes to sushi but I wil eat here with my eyes closed. It is perfect for a date because they have lit candles and it is very intimate. Not expensive for high quality sushi. Delicious!

Disappointing take out
We have never been to this restaurant in person and cannot vouch for service, decor, etc. but the food stinks. We ordered some options that spanned the cuisine types, Malaysia noodles, sushi, seaweed salad...all of it was bland, boring and the sushi smelled unfresh. I have no idea how this location has gotten such quality reviews. Avoid.

Addicted
The sushi here is so good that one week I ordered from them literally every night! Super-fresh and super-fast delivery. Plus, the XO chicken is a delicious change of pace whenever I try to take a break from my sushi addiction. Love them!

Total Letdown
The menu descriptions are way more exciting than the actual food. We ordered duck spring rolls, crispy shrimp, fresh seaweed salad, and the crispy champagne duck. It was all very "meh"-- at best. I really love this kind of food, and have had quite a bit of asian fusion from a variety of restaurants in the city. This has to be the worst one. The duck spring rolls were just greasy messes, as were the shrimp. The seaweed salad was o.k. because it was nothing more than just fresh seaweed, but the sauce with which it came was an overly salty concoction of soy sauce, vinegar, and a whole lot of nothing special. The crispy duck was anything but. Each dish came with an enticing sounding sauce, but in reality they were all boring, bland, unimaginative, or just plain bad. For instance, the champagne duck came with a whole container filled with something that was pretty much warm apple sauce...blah. Hey, at least the portions were tiny! I couldn't have stood to have any of that crap in my fridge over night. Needless to say, I'm confused by the reviews of this place. Maybe if we'd ordered the sushi/sashimi... :(

Very fresh and good sushi
Omg, this is the first review I ever wrote, but I had to do it because the sushi here was SO amazing. The crab sticks, the salmon sushi, and all the sashimi we tried was really good, kind of made my day! Came here all the way from Brooklyn because my friend lives here, I wonder if all the sushi in this neighborhood is so good? Also the prices were very fair, it wasn't cheap by any means, but paid about $45 (with drinks) for both of us with tip. Great time I had here
