Disappointing takeout
I just got my takeout of sesame chicken and sesame beef and they were both unappetizing. Drenched in a gooey sauce and greasy batter, they forgot my sodas and egg rolls. This was the most disappointing chinese food I've ever had in New York I will never ever order from here again.

Good Vietnamese in Midtown
I have enjoyed numerous meals here and think the Vietnamese food is as good as any I've had in Manhattan. Just had take-out delivered to my home and was pleasantly surprised. Cost more than the Chinese place in my neighborhood but delicious food was delivered quickly.

confusion in the kitchen
I live in the neighborhood, and tried Asia Grill recently and was appaled. Either its a chinese restaurant trying to make thai food, or a thai restuarant trying to make sushi, or a sushi restaurant trying to make chinese food, because none of it is correct! From a falling apart california roll, to an oxtail soup with NO OXTAIL, and everything in between, its all just a bad asian mish mosh

The neighbors like it
If the people who live in the neighborhood return often, then it is usually good. The food here is varied and consistent. Steady stream of customers all hours. Stick to Chinese style menu and keep it simple. Friendly manager with usual "team" service found at many oriental restaurants. Excellent value. Casual. Good sushi bar too. One may be comfortable dining here alone. Neighborhood vibe and never formal.

So good! Fresh and tasty!
We are addicted to the Bun Xao entree and the Bo Luc Lac, the beef is better than most high end steak houses! Ramen soups good too!

just try the grilled dishes, incredibly tasty.
I had ordered takeout before and found it bland except for the fried pork rice. But i decided to eat lunch there and pow! i ordered the grilled beef dishes with noodles bun xao etc etc grillled anything really knocked our socks off. We just were not ordering the best things in the past. the soup was bland etc. but believe me, get the grilled meats. Forget chinatown. this is some of the best grilled dishes ever. however, as i said, be careful what u order as some things just were bland but some things were superb. i say give it a chance or you will miss out on a good no great tasting lunch.
