Amazing food!
Came here for restaurant week- ordered the calamari salad, beef dumplings, tuna entree, & chocolate cake. Everything was spectacular! The atmosphere is lovely & so is the service!

Not Worth It
Went here for restaurant week as the prices seemed very high to go on a normal night. Ordered the calamari salad, beef dumplings and tuna entree. Calamari salad came out totally under-cooked and tasted like rubber (had to send back). Dumplings were decent, but how could you screw those up. Tuna was a decent size portion, but the wasabi mash it came with lacked any sort of taste. Also ordered the shanghi noodles which tasted no better than any corner Chinese place. Dessert was ok, but only reason we got something was because it was included. Overall this was a very poor food experience and I can't imagine actually paying the normal menu prices. We left feeling hungry and ripped off. Never going back again. Also, make sure you go to the bathroom before coming because you can end up waiting 15 minutes on line.

Drink, Food and Ambiance
I resently went and took my better half out for her birthday. We began the night with some mojitos which were incredible and as we conitued to taste the different flavor mojitos from strawberry to coconut which we loved we were told out table was ready. The service and food were magnificent. We had the calamari salad and the rib as appetizers. they were both very good. remember they serve family style so this is plenty of food for two. we then went on to share one entre as the waiter recommended and we couldnt even finish it. Over all service food and ambiance was great i would definately recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to have great drinks and magnificent food.

food lover
I went here with a bunch of friends and thought it was okay. It is not a good place for vegetarians because their only veggie dish is like three blocks of tofu in a sauce that has no taste to it and it's way overpriced. The Thai salad was amazing tough and the mojitos were the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is really nice and the music is good but if you stay there for more than 2 hours which is what we did the music gets too repetitive.

Pricey but GREAT food and service!
On a recent ladies trip to NYC myself and 4 others dined at Asia de Cuba at the recommendation of a colleague. We knew going in that it would be pricy, but the food made up for it! The asian spiced pork spare ribs appetizer was outstanding...the meat just falls off the bone. The cuban chicken and honey-rhum glazed pot-roast of pork entree's were also very good. I was told the lobster mashed potatoes were to die for, but they were a little fishy tasting for my liking. I only have 2 complaints: 1)The waiter recommended far more food then 5 ladies needed. Not knowing how big the portion sizes woudl be, we went with the waiters recommendation of 3 appetizers, 3 entrees, and 3 sides. We didn't even put a dent in the food and since staying at a hotel, the left overs went to waste. 2) The food comes out as it is ready and not all at once. We received 2 of our 3 entrees before any of the sides arrived...including the coconut rice recommended by the waiter to complement the roast. However, the waiter did comp us the rice without our asking since it arrived so late! Very good food, amazing specialty drinks, great servie, fantastic ambiance....but it is pricey! I guess you get what you pay for though!

Loved It! but way too expensive!
My boyfriend and I went to Asia de Cuba a few years ago to celebrate an anniversary. We loved the food. The tuna with wasabi mashed potatoes was to-die-for! we loved everything we ate. the portions were not big. we got 2 drinks, water, 2 entrees, one appetizer and the bill with tip came to almost $300!! this was a great place with nice staff and atmosphere, but the prices are ridiculous. We don't regret the splurge tho :-)
