We ordered cocktails to start with and waiter came back after not even 2 minutes and wanted to know what we would like to order. Come, sit, order, eat as quickly as possible, leave your Credit card and get the hell out of here. Mojitos (too sweet, the Seltzer was flat), Marguerita (they use a pre mix instead of making it fresh - was sent back), Vodka Tonic was flat. The quality of the food considering the prices is an insult. The portions are big. Too big. Charge less, make smaller portions. Thai Beef Salad is a huge pile of Mesclun Salad with all the other ingredients I think it was suppose to come with. Hard to tell in all the mish-mash. They should call it confusion food instead of fusion. The Crab Croquetas were ok, but the waiter did not even wait until we all got to use the sauces and was about to take the serving plate with the sauces off the table without even asking if he could do so. He was eventually stopped, but had attitude ever after. Due to the noise level the waiter misunderstood my not wanting another cocktail, in wanting one and showed up with another drink, which I sent back, because I could not take the syrupy sweet concoction of another Mojito any more. Asked for a wine list. Appetizer plates were taken away. We asked for a wine list again, which after a long wait finally came including the wine list. We had to do a quick decision concerning the wine in order to have wine actually with our meal. Main course: WOW what a disaster!! Stringy Tuna with runny mashed potatoes and crunchy wasabi balls (crunchy to a point where I was afraid I would crack my teeth). Imagine you have your mouth full with mashed potato and then suddenly your head explodes, because you bite on something so hard, that you don't even know if its your tooth or the wasabi ball. Now tell me, how much are you going to enjoy the rest of the meal?? The tropical Hoisin Duck: The skin was soggy, the plantains were limp, the taste all together was confusing. We did not even bother to have dessert.

This is a great place. The food is amazing , Like any other restaurant it all depends on what you order. Somethings might taste good to some people others may not like it. Now , i do agree that it may a bit dark and noisy but the restaurant is very nice. The noise well is different but you can tell its a very social place. So once again its a great restaurant just order wisely because almost everything I had was great! and its very rare that you attend a restaurant where all the food they serve you tastes great !

Once you've had the crab caesar salad it's hard not to go back to this restaurant. It is that good. Other food is generally good, but the bill will knock you out of your seat. A good choice for restaurant week when it is more affordable.

I love to dine at various places from Florence & Pisa, Italy to Switzerland and the caribbean islands. Yes, I love food! Asia de Cuba was a really good experience for me and 10 others that went as a group. It was packed, (on a monday evening). The calamari salad is delicious. The sea bass, cod, beef dumplings, crab croquettes, braised beef spring roll, Pan sear sea scallops, Ropa Vieja of Duck and the Rock shrimp mu shu was all enjoyable. I recommened a bottle of Riesling Mohua(New Zealand region) with it!

The fusion food doesn't have sophistication. The restaurant is dark and almost unbearably noisy, the service is slow and not so attentive

I am currently sitting at the restaurant and taking some time out to upload this review.... Jump into conclusions!! We had 2 apetizers and 2 entres... It's hard to call the winner plate for the most forgetable prize. Cold and regular dumplings skewered to fade down the flavorless experience. Calamari salad: i had better salads at thai market. Chicken bbq... More bones than actual meat hidden in a flavorless coconut sticky rise... To wrap this experience up the pork was raw and tender fat great for allie vendors.... We are leaving a prefix dessert untouched!!

Went one evening on a date and we were seated promptly without a reservation. I should have been skeptical by how empty it was. Ordered the calamari salad which was just a huge mound of mixed ingredients that tasted like it had been sitting out all day. The fried calamari was cold, chewy and had no flavor..just oily and the even the lettuce lacked crispness!! The lobster potstickers were DRENCHED in over processed cheese and you couldn't even taste the lobster or anything that was inside it. Where in cuban and/or asian cuisine do you see food covered in cheese? It was disgusting! Then we had the bass which was so bland and the only interesting thing about the plate was the orchid they placed on the plate. The chocolate cake was good and so was the cafe con leche..even though my coffee wasn't very hot Overall, I should have listened to everyone who told me this place was overrated, but I like to try things myself and make my own opinions. I will never return and if I had to pay for that "meal" I would have been even more pissed off. I felt bad that my date paid for such an awful dinner. If you like BAD food, eat here because the portions are HUGE
