Solid, quick, and cheap sandwich/salad lunch spot off 6th avenue. Tuna wrap with sliced apples and grapes is a must.

icky
nothing like a piece of old sweaty cheese with fridge burned edges to ruin your lunch. this wasn't the first time. their bread has continuously been stale.

Very Good!
I go here nearly every day for lunch and really enjoy it! The salads are made fresh right in front of you and the bakery is always very good. There's not a huge selection and no room to sit, but what they do is really good! I love it!

just ok, and over priced
the food at ashbys is just ok! nothing to write home about. i was told about Ashbys by a coworker, she had good things to say, but its just ok. the only reason i ever go in there is the closeness to my office. if it gets late, and i havent eaten, i usually just run across the street and get food. i stick to the salads, or paninis. also, the food is over priced. its the same as any one of the many places that sell soups and salad. again, it just ok!

Favorite work lunch spot
Sure, it's not totally cheap for a sandwich, but it is so much more delicious and faster than other spots in the area. The soup is really cheap ($4 tops for a large is a bargain in my opinion!) and the paninis are pure heaven (turkey cobb, I love you). The people at the counter can be less than pleasant at times, but I would be too if I had to stand behind that tiny counter all day.

Communication Issues
It's a major tease to have this place so close to where I work because the food is good but the service is very frustrating! The counters are too tall for most to speak over and many of the guys working there don't understand english so trying to place an order is painful and often doesn't come out right. Not worth the headache!!

Favorite Go-to Place
I work right down the blick and this is my favorite place for a take out lunch. The soup salad combo is cheap! A LARGE soup and basic salad is only $8.14 inc. tax. If you have ever gone to any of the other places around here or Hale and Hearty then you know that this is a BARGAIN and everything tastes fresh and good. The service is always friendly and they never mess up the orders (unlike Hale and Hearty, which messed up my lunch order twice in one day)!
