Best Pizza West of New Haven and north of Bleeker Street. Only wish they would take credit cards.

Arturo's is Arturo's
This is my favorite pizza in the City. The salads are excellent too. I like the atmosphere; it is part of being Arturo's. To those that gave a low rating due to the atmosphere...do you want to remodel McSorley's too?

Best Pizza On The Upper East Side!
I'm about to head down the block for a slice or two of my absolutely favorite pie. There's something very special about this pizza and the service is terrific. I especially like the pizza with a bacon topping. It sounds like it would be greasy, but it's not. You can also get a nice house salad or antipasto to round out your snack and make it into a meal. I have nothing but four star raves for this treasure.

Great for take out
It's a shame that Arturo's rating is brought down because of "Atmosphere." Arturo's is a tiny little pizzeria, and shouldn't be thought of as an eat-in restaurant. The pizza is great, the service is as good as any, and the prices are reasonable. What more could you ask for? Just get your food to go.

These guys are so nice!
Everyone's already said great things about the food, with which I completely agree. However, the people are also great. I lost my wallet and realized it as I went to pay for a slice. After I ran around the block to confirm it was gone, they gave me two slices for free and told me to come back when I had the money. (I came back a week later with a safely turned in wallet). If goofy stories don't win you over, then seriously go there for the pizza - it is also excellent.

I spend my lunch time here the pizza is old time pizza just like you thought a n.y. pizza should be.
