We eat here at least once a month, and love it! The food is consistently good. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I have been eating here since 1984. The food is fantastic, with the best tomato sauce this side of my mother. The manicotti, with its thin pasta shell and the eggplant parmigiana are outstanding. Try the special salad with arugula, asparagus and shaved cheese. Yum. The owner, although a Yankee fan, is gracious and personable. There are so many regulars, it almost feels like a private club, yet you're treated like family. We had our wedding reception here in 1988 and my extended Italian family is still talking about the food. A real treasure on the Upper East Side. Check out their pizza place across the street for a quick bite.

Arturo's pizza is excellent, and a very good value by the slice. I go there twice a week since I live on the block. They just remodelled, for no reason cause it looks the same. Never tried the real restaurant across the street - a lot of chicken on the menu...

Great food no frills. Go to arturo's to get large size at a good price and the quality is great. Very relaxed place - you can joke with the help and the owner is always on hand. My wife and I make it to arturo's at least once a week.

Arturo's has become a second home for my husband and I. Even if we didn't live just down the block, it would still be our favorite in the neighborhood. The food on every level is delicious and personal requests are happily met. My favorite is the fried calamari--the best in New York. Even their broiled steak is of the highest quality and perfectly prepared. My husband's favorite is their seafood combination--lobster, shrimp, etc. over linquine with a wonderful sauce. Even their cappucino is done perfectly and comes with delicious biscotti on the side. Bella!

This is a great restaurant just around the corner. The food and service are excellent and everything is reasonably priced. If you like Italian food, the menu will serve you well. I don't think you will be disappointed. And if you like pizza, just walk across the street for the best pizza on the upper east side.

We just ordered a pizza and lasagna from here, had a bit of each and threw out the rest. Really substandard.
