There is nothing I enjoy more than a $14 cocktail and a 10 minute wait for bar service, after I already waited 20 minutes by a suspicious looking “front” door. I love the speakeasy cocktail culture that is sweeping NYC but am not a fan of the expected wait time or the poorly selected beers at many prohibition themed bars. My friends and I tried out arts and crafts beer parlor on Tuesday night and I was incredibly surprised at the hospitality we received. I love beer and am thrilled this pub opened. They have a selection of 12-20 brews on tap (please excuse my large gap in estimation, I did have a good time there), a chic vibe, and promote artists with wall space. This classic neighborhood venue partners with local meatball obsession, kings county jerky and sigmunds pretzels. This is the West Village stop for quality beer with stylish atmosphere.
