I am at a loss for why this place is always packed. I went once and, while it was not bad, it wasn't great either. There are better choices in the area- this one didn't impress me enough to ever go back.

Far superior quality to carnegie, stage -- maybe 2nd ave is competitve. They do a great job abd everything is top notch most epseically the matzo ball soup. Service is eh, but delivery's quick.

The food is great, but when I placed an order for delivery it too forever, they even had to call and ask me for my address again. Then they forgot something and I called to have them bring it and they never showed up.

Deli's come and deli's go... Artie's is now the KING of NY deli's! Quality, quantity and price, what a winning combination. I've also catered half a dozen times, they get it right each and everytime...right down to the extra mustard.

Went for brunch on a Sunday and decided to check out a non busy place. Got there and immediately felt like I was in FL due to the heat (to their credit it was quickly corrected). Had breakfast food (eggs, etc....) that was pretty good, but the pickles and the cookies afterwards were better. Service was fine, overall was a good change of pace.

Very good food, typical ambiance and very average service. Sometimes its just worth it.
