Ottimo
Quite simply the best Italian Restaurant in the East Village. The food, service and staff -- excellent!

What a disappointment!
My son lives locally and said he had eaten at Arte with another friend who frequents this restaurant. We were entertaining friends from out of State and wanted a cozy venue to enjoy a good meal. I don't write restaurant reviews unless the place is amazing but I left the restaurant feeling cheated... the main waiter was arrogant, the food was mediocre at best, and if my friends were not there I would have sent back my meal...that said...the additional waitstaff were attentive in refilling our water glasses, and the Village has a special charm... I highly recommend the location, Univeristy Place and 9th St, for a lovely area to roam around before or after a meal... but not at Arte!

Best lobster ravioli!
Nice atmosphere, attentive service and great food. Waiter took forever detailing the specials, but overall an excellent dining experience.

Great Food Great Ambience & A Winner
Very pleasantly surprised all around with this gem of a restaurant. The food was great & the wine was amazing. Pleasant & colorful staff made this a truly pleasant dining exeperience.
