What a great little place! On a recent trip to NYC, I was thrilled to have Arte Cafe recommended to me. I was there with two very picky 17 year olds who came away as delighted as I was with the food, the service and the atmosphere. Not pretentious, good service, nice wine, not rushed. I liked it so much I made a reservation for this weekend!

What can I say.I eat here quite often and I must say this place is a gem. Was that Bobby W. with his beatiful wife enjoying that delicious pollo alla parmigiana? Pure serendipity. Molto Bueno!!!!

I've lived all over the globe and can say in complete honesty that the experience of dining at the West Side restaurant was one of the nicest I have had in NYC. The food was wonderfully prepared, the atmosphere was both chic and yet relaxed and the personal touch and courtesy of the staff, enjoyable. Whoever owns this place should take a bow! Bravo!

The service was atrocious. The food was served cold. The Eggs Benedict were overcooked as to be nothing more than hard boiled eggs. The eggs over easy were were anything but. They advertised champagne with the brunch means you must get up from your table and find a bottle set out on the mantle so one can serve oneself.

A recent extended NYC stay allowed us to sample both lunch and dinner. Both meals were excellent, service was attentive without being annoying and asking us 'if everything is ok' every 10 minutes. Atmosphere was relaxed even on a busy Saturday evening. Food was hot, portions were reasonable in size - not the hideous mounds of food served elsewhere. We felt the price was reasonable for an evening out in the city. I look forward to our next visit.
