Great place for a lunch meeting

If the weather's good, the outside sunken patio near the sidewalk is great for a comfortable meeting or date. The lunch menu is a great value with good, standard italian food, served with soup or salad.

    Molto bouno

I found my favorite dish at Arte Cafe, baby chicken alla Cacciatore, it was the best I've ever had. Also try the Branzino simply grilled brushed with lemon and olive oil and the priest stranglers with wild boar and chianti. They have a great formula, simply food, top ingridients at reasonable prices. Will definitely return.

Great food. Rude take out service

I love arte cafe and eat there at least once per week..i am sorely disappointed, however, by the rudeness of the person who takes the take-out order..you are left on hold for many minutes, the order takes a long time to arrive, and when you call to check on your order, you are treated with rudeness. As competitition is heating up in the area , i would hope you would look into the quality of the people representing your wonderful restaurant.

    Fantastic!

I live right down the block from Arte Cafe and have seen it go through many renovations and improvements. They have a wonderful outdoor seating area in the rear of the restaurant and a lovely area outside in the front as well. I have eaten here three times- once inside, in the back and in the front. All three times have been wonderful. The food is consistantly delicious (I have never tasted such yummy sun-dried tomatoes in my pasta), the atmosphere is truly pleasing ANYwhere you sit, and the service is overall very good- the waiters are attentive and so friendly! Dishes I would recommend; Rigatoni with Vodka Sauce and Sun-dried Tomatoes, Salmon with Julienned Vegetables, any of the salads (VERY fresh and tasty), and don't miss the chocolate lava cake for dessert- a bit pricy, but it can easily be shared with 3-4 people. As for prices- the "early bird" specials are the best part, and the regular menu is not bad either. I am having my birthday dinner here this year, and am looking forward to it immensely. :)

    Great first date

The outdoor dining at night makes for a romantic but cute and comfortable setting - perfect atmosphere for a casual but special first date.

Try the really large jumbo shrimp with heads on, lemon, butter and garlic. Also great outdoor dining.

    Great lunch during the week!

We dined here on June 30th, in the outdoor area, which was very nice. I almost wished we had eaten inside, because it was very nice in there also. You can't beat the fixed price lunch menu during the week. The cesear salads were HUGE, and we got bread and olive oil. I had the chicken panini, which was just ok, but it came with amazing french fries (the skinny carnival kind). Others in my family had pizza (huge), pasta (huge), and the lasagna. Everyone really enjoyed their lunch, and we were too stuffed for a big dinner that night. What a great place and I can't wait to go back. Excellent service as well.
