Maitre D' ?
Was there yesterday with the family and my parents for dinner. We had a nice time and food is always consistent. My little girls love their pizzas and pastas. The only thing this place has always short is service. The server tried, but he thought I was being difficult when ordering for my girls. When I asked if he could suggest a bottle of wine for the table he had no idea what to suggest or how to match it with our food. I don’t expect to have a wine master as a server but he should have a general idea of his wine list and smile a little more, specially this time of the year. Arte café you will see me again been coming there for more than five years now. P.S What happened to the Maitre D’ you had?

Not reccomened
My boyfriend and I finally decided to give Arte a try. Sooo disappointing. Not only was there a huge flat screen TV above the bar that had a baseball game on....but the hostesses were running around like headless chickens giggling and doing everything but their jobs. The service is another story. The waiter was very prompt and polite, BUT when we ordered a bottle of champagne, we were given dirty glasses TWICE. I finally had to take my dinner napkin and wipe our glasses myself. Since we weren't really hungry we just ordered an anti pasta plate....not very impressive. And last but not least....our bread was hard, cold...and old. I do believe that an Italian joint should get the bread right....if nothing else. Please....stay away...unless ofcourse you're a middle aged man looking to watch a baseball game and enjoy a bowl of pasta (which I'm sure anyone could make just as well at home).

Great Thanksgiving meal!
My wife and I ended up at Arte Cafe for thanksgiving dinner. We sat at the bar while ordering a couple glasses of wine while waiting for our table which was ready within 10 minutes. We had the pre fixe turkey dinner for $29 and it was great. The one dish that closest resembled Italian was the buttersquash ravioli. Bl looking at some of the other dishes being served, including their pizza's, we could tell this is a quality resteraunt. We will definately return before next thanksgiving. Or dinner including wine, dessert, and tip was $75.

Sub-par delivery
This place took down our phone number and address wrong. Took nearly two hours before they finally got the order to us.

Lousy, unfriendly service
While i love the atmosphere and food, the service is poor! the reception staff is unfriendly and slow; the waiters cannot be found, do not return to your table to ask if you would like another drink, bring food when it is cold,i was there today for brunch and my waiter could not have been more unfriendly and unattentive..the busboys are great, but the service is so poor that i may not return...and i have been to the restaurant many times and have even had events there...never again!

Great food, waitress needs people skills
Met 4 girlfriends for dinner on a Friday night. Waitress was a bit bothered by the fact that my party showed up late. The appetizers, entrees and dessert were delicious and we're still raving about it. We can't say the same for our waitress. She definitely came off as bothered by waiting on a table of all women. I'll definitely go back for the food but will probably look out to not be seated with the waitress again.

Waiter, please!
Agree with previous reviews. Good food; very good prix fixe value; lousy service.
