Panini and Cookies
At lunch, the grilled panini are a delicious and made with high quality incredients (mozzarella tomato, prosciutto, eggplant parmagian). The baked goods are excellent especially the chocolate chip cookies and low fat muffins.

Bang 4 Dabuck
Really, with costs going out of control, Arte keeps their prices in control without comprompising quality. Keep up the good work guys.

Nice garden!
That's all, nice garden. I was dining alone, for Pete's sake is this not New York City, is this not allowed? The service staff looked like they didn't know what to do with me, my family was away, I love dining alone. The salad I ordered finally came, very good salad I might add, Endivia. Would try it again, the garden was just too beautiful not to enjoy again. Note to staff......treat solo diners with the same respect you would to a crowd. Some of us dine alone by choice. If it doesn't bother me, why should it bother you.

Simply Not Good
Much better options all around the neighborhood...the food is simply below average and nothing would make anyone want to go there.

Poor service
My boyfriend and I had dinner here last night. Even though the place was not crowded, it took our waitress 20 minutes before even taking our drink order. The food was mediocre at best. The waiter that cleared our plates then spilled a plate of garlic and oil all over my boyfriends pants. At the end of the long meal, they brought us our check and we paid by credit card. The waiter then returned our card to the table next to us. As we were signing the check another waiter rushed over and tore up our bill explaining that we had the wrong one. The staff could barely get out an apology. We will never go back.

1960s Italian Food
I'm in the neighborhood, but never ate here til last night. I'm mystified by all the reviews praising the food, or the value for money. It was a pleasant enough place to sit and a large menu...but really a time-travelling trip to the Italian-American food I remember as a kid in the 1960s. Our meal was fine, but un-touched by any hint of Italian authenticity (I travel and eat in Italy often), and equally untouched by any of the changes in American cuisine over the last half century. Heavy sauces drowning the pasta, vastly overcooked fish, and oily fried stuff dominate. The bill was no lower than far better places close by. But the portions were big (another 1960s throwback). So if "value for money" just means quantity, I guess this was plenty of value. But if value means great food for a low bill, well, the bill was no lower than better Italian places on the UWS. The service, equally friendly and slow.

It went down hill
I used to go here all the time. It's right down the street from me. The food used to be delicious. In the last 2 years the food and service have gone down hill. Last time I went there the food was served to my friends while I waited for 10 minutes. Finally I asked the waiter how much longer it would be. He never returned with an update or reassurance. After 20 minutes, I cancelled my order. He was very indignant. He should have apologized and offered me something else. I won't go back there. So disappointing and rude.
