Steam Table Food at Premium Prices

the negatives: a 45 minute wait for our appetizers...nachos that were just chips, cheese, and jalapenos, no salsa, no beans...our burritos were soggy messes of rice and little else...the mama burrito which is supposed to be filled with vegetables had maybe four pieces of brocolli and little else....the steak burrito was much the same....all filled with inedible soggy rice. the plus side: the place is clean, and the margaritas are superb, which is a good thing as after waiting for 45 minutes for the food to arrive, one gets loopy, and does not care about how poor the food is....although today i do care.

One word - Crepes de Camarones

I go to Arriba Arriba quite often in HK. Often there is a DJ spinning contributing to the atmosphere. It isn't fancy, but it is cute. Yes, a bit loud, but I can always hear who I am with. The margaritas come in glasses the size of your head, or regular size. The nachos are the kind that are fewer and individually treated, which I like. The fare is standard mexican and very tasty. Enchillada Suiza and such. The Crepes de Camarones are, by far, the best thing on the menu. Umm! Cheese cheese cheese!. I also went once for lunch. They have a great bargain lunch menu.

    Solid

Loud, crowded, cramped, possible waits.....but that all goes away once you down a gin-ormous tasty margarita and start snackin' on some chips. Solid steak burrito, solid enchiladas. Service is busy but not dismissive. It's a fun night, good food, recommended.

Answer the phone, if you deliver!

I wish they would answer their phones!!! If you don't deliver, just say so. I tried to order from here several times and they always leave you on hold for 5-10 minutes and by that time you are so frustrated to order. It's a shame because their food is good.

    Disappointed!!

I had read some positive reviews so we thought we would give it a try. The margaritas were just okay and $15. I had iced tea and they charge for every glass. Unheard of back in Denver where we live. I ordered chile rellenos and for $13.95 you get 1 relleno. I thought the place was very expensive for not that great of food. I'll save my money and stick with the great Mexican food we get out West. Don't bother, there are a lot better places in NY to get good food.

    Not recommended

I am writing this review after just returning home from tonight's disapointment. I had been craving good Mexican food for weeks and decided to try this joint after passing it many times and reading the good reviews on here. Who are they kidding when they charge $8.95 for "deluxe nachos" and then hand you a plate with 8 chips. That's not an exaggeration......there were a TOTAL of 8 (that's eight) soggy chips with no flavor and a spoonfull of sour cream for an additional $2.00. I could have had Nachos Bell Grande at Taco Bell for half that price! Sadly I am still in search of a good Mexican restaurant that will hopefully fill me up.

    my favorite restaurant in NYC

I literally eat here once a week. I love the chilli relleno!
