Just what I wanted
After trying several Mexian restaurants on the upper east side I finally found one that has the food, service, atmosphere and prices that I want. I enjoyed my meal and drinks and had a great time at this restaurant. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We made a reservation, but found that there was still about a 15-20 minute wait when we arrived. However, after finishing my meal the wait was all but forgotten. I highly recommend this restaurant. The Chimichanga was fantastic!!

Just alright
Waiter was nice albeit slow to take our order. Homemade tamales left something to be desired--bland and glutinous tasting but the mole sauce helped a bit. Beef burrito was too salty and flauta was unmemorable. At least the rice and beans were good...and they refilled salsa for free which seems uncustomary after reading these past reviews.

A Must Try Mexican Restaurant on the UES
I met a few relatives at Arriba Arriba on a Saturday afternoon, along with a couple of friends, and we all loved it. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was great, and the service was fantastic. We stayed for an entire 3 hours and I was amazed at how reasonable the final tab was considering that we were a party of 5. If you're looking for a great Mexican restaurant on the Upper East side, you'll definitely want to check this place out...

Not so Great
The atmosphere was very loud, the bar and the tv were just loud and we were sitting right next to the DJ booth, the food was not worth the price and they seem to charge for every little thing, i asked for a side of sour cream and he charges me $2.50 and $2.50 for a side of peppers, i am that crazy. Not worth it.

Good atmosphere, great chips and salsa!
Love the margaritas and chips and salsa at this place. They're made with fresh fruit and have a good selection of flavors. Good service, a little overpriced, but definitely make it a regular visit when I'm on the Upper East Side.

Great- if you order the right thing
Went here before a comedy club show with my mom, friend, and boyfriend. I absolutely loved my meal (I ordered the shrimp special w/a chipotle cream sauce and veggies). The beans and rice as a side were great also. My friend enjoyed hers as well (she got a fish dish). My boyfriend got the chili and was disappointed that it wasn't a "normal" chili but said it tasted good. My mom's meal was ok. Overall, if you order the "right" thing, you will absolutely love this place. I cannot wait to go back! And, the prices were very reasonable.

Great Place to Eat
This place was wonderful! The food has to be the best Mexican food I've ever had in my life. The service was good and it had a great atmosphere. I would will come back next time I am in town.
