Starbucks? We don't need no stinkin Starbucks.
Cafe Aroma serves great and reasonably priced beverages. Nice staff, good space (and free WiFi). The food (I still can smell the bread) is tasty but a bit pricey. There are two Aromas in NYC, and if this is any indication, you will thankfully be seeing more.

love the bread, soups are not hot
this place has great bread which makes the sandwich. I ordered the roast beef and there was like one slice of RB in the sandwich but the dressing was really good.. They need to add more meat and chicken for the prices they are charging. The soup is never hot, warm at best.

Finally a Starbucks killer
Aren't we all tired of Starbucks by now... I know I am. There are about 4 of them in a 2 block radius of my apartment. That said, I am always looking for coffee shops/ espresso bars that give the convenience of starbucks with coffee and food that actually tastes good. Enter Aroma - Not only does it offer free WiFi, but there coffee drinks are much better (and cheaper) than Starbucks. the food is amazing, plently of fresh made sandwiches to choose from (i love the turkey bacon club). The best part is the thick slices of fresh baked bread. Finally, I have to say that I love the fact that every coffee drink comes a nice piece of milk chocolate.

Nostalgia trip
I came to this location because I had a few meals at the Aroma Jerusalem location and me and some people from that trip decided to reminisce at a familiar place. I could swear the sandwitches didn't taste as good here as they did in Israel but it was still good tasting and the coffee drinks are yummy! The decor is realy nice with plenty of seating. I will return.

The best cookies EVER!
I popped by this place on a whim, just to get something to nibble on. And boy did I get a treat. The Alfajores have to be the best cookies I have ever tasted! It's two soft shortbread cookies with this butterscotch creme filling sandwiched in between, and dusted with powdered sugar. Absolutely amazing! The decor was very chill and the service was tidy and efficient, and I'll definitely be going back!
