The BEST SANDWICHES/COFFEE in NYC!
Le'ts just start out by saying that once you eat their sandwiches and have their coffee, you literally will not go anywhere else. What I like about Aroma is their super friendly staff (their managers are the best), the cute area of seating they have for customers who want to take their time, and of course their fresh food. The food is about as fresh as you will ever find it. The grilled chicken sandwich is a must try! The chicken is grilled right on the spot when you order and is delicious. Their salads are also super healthy and tasty. Their portions are the largest you will ever find anywhere. If you like something sweet then I would recommend having their alfajore (has dulce de leche inside), chocolate croissant, or the rugulach. These are by far the tastiest deserts they have. For drinks, you have to try their specialty Iced Aroma, Hot Chocolate, and the Ice limonada. If you want something healthy and extremely tasty, this is the place to go. This place is highly recommended!

Best Coffee and Sandwich place in the city!
Let me just say that I am a regular customer now. This is not just an ordinary espresso bar but it is the best coffee house in the city. I cannot begin to explain how rich and tasty the drinks are. For those who like something sweet please try the Ice Aroma. My favorite is the Mozzarella Sandwich and the grilled Chicken Sandwich. If you look at all the other restaurants in the city you pay around the same price for smaller portions and cold food! Here everything is warmed up right in front of you and the managers are exceptionally friendly. The interior design of the restaurant is great and the seating arrangement is also very nice. For those who love anything sweet please try the Alfajores, the rugulach, and the Chocolate Croissant. The breakfast is great and lunch is even better. I am also very impressed with their catering services. My company has ordered from them and I must say they are very punctual and professional. The food is always fresh and tasty and I don't want to go anywhere else. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area to give it a try. You will not be disappointed.

so good!
I was so happy that Aroma came to New York, and have been ordering from this branch for a couple months now... sooo good! The food is fresh, flavorful and well made. I usually have a soup/salad and sandwhich combination, which is always delicious. I haven't been inside, but delivery is on time, and packaged well-- always with a delicious little chocolate or two thrown in. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Best Coffee Place in the City!
I absolutely love this place! I have been a regular customer since they opened and cannot explain how fresh their sandwiches are.....Grilled Chicken sandwich is a must try! Also if you like anything sweet the Alfajores, Chocolate Croissant, and rugulach are must haves! The staff is friendly and the interior designs are very pleasing and nice. I would rather pay a little more than go to Starbucks and get packaged food and mediocore coffee. For coffee lovers please check this place out you won't be disappointed!

Delicious! Check it out.
I live nearby and usually when I want a breakfast on a Sunday (to go), I have gone to a Starbucks which is 1/2 a block from my building. Today I had an errand on 3rd Avenue, so walking back up 42nd I decided to check this place out, and if not impressed, go back to my faithful Starbucks. Well I am glad I was feeling curious! Aroma has a high ceiling, cool NY themed mural on the wall, and music playing. Sun pours through the huge picture windows. It is very welcoming and clean. A good impression. The coffee and food? Based on what I had, excellent. I ordered a cafe au lait which was superb - the milk had a wonderful foam head, and the coffee was rich and delicious. To go with this I tried a 1/2 Salmon sandwich, on 7 grain bread. I asked if a 1/2 sandwich was reasonably sized, and it definitely was! It is literally the size of a normal sandwich anywhere else. This explains why a 1/2 is about $6 for any sandwich, and a whole, which you could easily share, would be more like $9. You can get the sense of how big by looking at the fresh loaves of bread in the back, But more importantly, it was excellent. I cannot stress how fresh it was - the bread was delicious and the texture was "just baked", and the fillings, smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion, lettuce & tomato, all cool and bursting with flavor. Delicious! I am curious to next try a sandwich with pickles, and this was listed as an ingredient in a few interesting sounding sandwiches, and I see another reviewer recommending them. Check it out! Coffee is at least on a par with Starbucks, and the food is definitely superior.

Fresh Food
This place is excellent...brings Israel right to New York. It's expensive but you definitely cannot compare it to Starbucks. The coffee is fresh and so is the food. The avocado sandwich is amazing as is their orange juice. I'd rather eat healthy and pay just a bit more than eat processed foods or foods with preservatives. It's a great cafe!
