I'm sorry others had bad experiences but i actually love it here. My boyfriend initially took me here and the atmosphere was really nice. I have had the shrimp parm and it's soooo good. The shrimps are HUGE. I can never finish my portion. The molten chocolate cake dessert is also tasty. I have never had bad service there either. I always leave stuffed and happy.

We live in the neighborhood and go there about twice a month. The service tonight was so BAD that we will NEVER go back again. We are still devastated over it. We ordered a glass of wine and an appetizer with plans for dinner. The wine and appetizer was served and ate it and drank the wine. Nobody ever returned to the table. We waited....and waited...and waited...and waited...and waited. Finally, we called our waitress over and just asked for the check. We told her we'd planned to order dinners and she said, "She didn't come over because it looked like we were having fun." So a waiter with a ponytail or whatever brought the check and didn't seem to know us (before when we were in, he was our best friend...and we've worked with him as long as we've gone there). We paid and left. We can't go back and will look for other places.

It took 2 hours for them to deliver my food and when they did it was cold. When I called after and hour and a half to ask where my food was, they were rude and unconcerned. I ordered gelato and they gave me ice cream. Furthermore, I asked for a side of Parmesan and they charged me $5 dollars!

I was very displeased with this restaurant. I ordered Shrimp Parmisian. They burned my shrimps. My mother asked for a particular dish. They stated it had jumbo shrimps. We received our food no jumbo shrimps. The watress never came back after serving us to check on us. I asked to see the manager who offered to change our food and indicated yes I can see its burned. But did not apologize at all. Instead she was sitting down having her own meal with friends . The shrimp parmisian flavor was unappetizing and overcooked. Fifty five dollars for this food. I still cant believe no one even apologized. If you want good italian food don't go here try the restaurant next door. Much better service also. Did I mention they were rushing, and the atmosphere was extremely noisy.

My wife & I live by this place & do it frequently. Some great appetizers, caprese salad, eggplant rollatine & zuppa di clams. Very attentive service & you're not rushed when you're in no hurry.

Bad pasta, bad pizza, bad everything! Gordon Ramsay needs to do a kitchen nightmare episode special on this place.

Same cool neon sign as the old Armando's in the same location. Good food - beyond standard red sauce, eg rabbit Ragusa, but w/pleasant standards, eg excellent carbonara. Room is dark & quiet-ish, full but not jammed. Good date spot <g>
