My co-worker and I've been coming to this little Japanese place for 5 years now. Its a little divey but it's clean and the food is fantastic and very inexpensive. Sometimes it gets busy and the food takes a while but usually you can get in and out of there if you get there before 12:30 pm. The Sushi is very fresh and they have Sapporo draft. The mackerel bento box is really great also. I havent tried the curry hamburger but I always see someone eating it when I go. I took my friend from Seattle, WA there for lunch and she said it was the best sushi/sashimi she ever had! Do you have any idea how many great Japanese restaurants there are in Seattle? LOTS! Ariyoshi easily earns 5 stars!

The service is terrible and the food utterly mediocre. There are several better Japanese restaurants in this area.

Love this place, great sake & the sashimi is always fresh. Love it when they have the fatty salmon & horse mackerel available

one reviewer here said it reminded them of Tokyo? not quite sure if that is accurate, average at best. the decor is adequate, food average, service ok.

many of the food on the menu mirrors the japanese restaurants around the city, but the quality coupled with the ambience made me feel like i was eating back in tokyo. great little place with very attentive service. great sake list and food is like home cooking.
