Best food in New York City
Who cares about the atmosphere when you're served the best food in the city by a pleasant waiter every time. Ariana is my food hero! Thanks guys for caring and for a job well done.

Wonderful Afghan Restaurant
Ariana is a wonderful restaurant, because it delivers a small, cozy environment, with fast customer service, and declicious Afghan style food. It is a good experience every time!! I typically get the chicken kabab, and lamb curry, and they are excellent!! Highly recommended. You should also try the spinach samusa. A++!!

A small restaurant - but great food
If you're looking for a romantic dining experience, this place is not for you. The place is too small, and is usually very crowded. But the food is very good!! I would visit again soon.

Empty restaurant, tasteless food...
I ordered takeout from Ariana based on the Menupages review. I got the chicken kebab lunch special for $9. I was quite disappointed. Firstly, when I arrived (at 1pm on a workday), the restaurant was completely empty (and it smelled musty like old carpet). When I got back to my office, I opened the container to see 5 sad little chicken pieces on rice. The rice had a dish soap taste, and the "marinated" chicken had no taste at all! I will say that the chicken was tender, and the lettuce in the salad was crisp and fresh. Maybe it was just an off day, but I won't return.

Great food, solid!
Excellent find - solid food, good presentation, flavors, attentive service. The place is tiny. I will definitely visit again soon.

Absolutely Amazing
This place is a true hell's kitchen gem. It's a small hole-in-the-wall type restaurant which offers amazing food. My favorite is the sultani kabob dish. The service is great and they are willing to substitute items in dishes... if you don't want salad with your meal tell them and they will give you more rice instead. I have eaten at the restaurant twice and have had food delivered... 4 times in the last 2 weeks. Need I stay more?
