A is for arepera and amazing
I love Arepera Guacuco. I first went there in the summer and had a mouth watering arepera. I am a veggie, so I often don't eat so balanced, but the 12A is perfecto! I add beans to get protein. Every time I go, it is super fresh tasting and authentic. I can also attest second hand for meat eaters. I had a friend visiting NY last week. We went to many restaurants around the 5 boroughs. His favorite what Arepera Guacuco. It is also a very low key spot, so it isn't a scene (yet..) which makes it an awesome option for dining in and take out. I highly recommend. Enjoy!

Me senti en familia!
I felt like I was back in Venezuela eating at a relative's house. People were so attentive and the empanada de cazon was amazing!!! I haven't had such a great empanada since i lived in Venezuela. I'm definitely going back to taste the rest of their menu! Thanks to my friend who led me to this place and introduced me to a real gem.

Real Venezuelan Food
The food, and the people that work here make this place a typical venezuelan - non pretentious restaurant. I strongly recommend the "empanadas de jamon y queso" They have Christmas specials for pick up. (you have to call in advanced) Pan de jamon & Hallacas, for those who know how good that is!!

Wonderful Arepas!
Guacuco is a great addition to Bushwick. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful in offering recommendations. Wonderful arepas! Make sure to also try their coconut shake, which is called a Cocada I believe.
