    All the time

I come here every couple weeks, sometimes once a week. Love their food, and it's cheaper than Caracas. Service is way better than Caracas too since it's more cozy and not crazy packed. Owner runs the place, nice guy.

    Gracious service, amazing arepas

It's not often one finds a restaurant that has both delicious food and genuinely pleasant service... i'm glad i live near Arepa Arepa so I can frequently indulge. Before going, I had read the previous review regarding subpar service but decided to try it out anyway. The owner double as our waiter and he was friendly and patient. Fresh ingredients, homemade food and low prices combined with a gracious owner. Try the ginger mint iced tea!

    Great Food, Unpleasant Service

I went here once with my gf and we both loved the food, but it took nearly 2 hours to get 5 arepas, and there was only one more small table of people there. We were disconcerted with the service but addicted to the arepas. We decided to go back based on our appetites and not our patience tolerance, thinking the first time was a fluke. But the second time we went the cook and waiter argued, we weren't given water or any other basics, and the food took over 2 hours again, with nearly anyone there. I still want to order from this place because they are friendly and have good food, but I can't bring myself to do it. Get the service together and we will support you instead of Caracas.

    Lastima

I have been to this restaurant and brought friends to lunch with me here. One of the best features was the homey welcome and the wonderful service by the waiters. Recently I returned and was so disapointed. The food was still lovely but the waitress must hate her job. She made no efforts to accomodate when it was obvious the place was empty. She turned me off so much that i eventually ordered that which least inconvenienced her. This was the closest reception and I am sure the owner/manager has no idea that this is the case. Sadly one person can actually sink a business with poor waitressing skill.

    Awesome food, mediocre service

Ok, so I just checked out Arepa Arepa, food is awesome, but the service seems a bit lacking, one of the owners/ servers practically sat with us our entire meal and made us feel very uncomfortable asking if we liked it better than Caracas or Sachi's.. The food was very good and the Chef came out to say hello, she was very knowledgable about the food and made us feel a little more at ease will go back but maybe just for take out.

    Que bueno!!

Love the arepas, original and good combinations of flavors, but the arepas need a little more salt, the place was made with a good taste and service was excellent . Congratulations!!!

Delicious new place: affordable and friendly owner!

Great new place in the neighborhood. Delicious Arepas with fresh ingredients, including both classic and more innovative Arepas. Decor is simple but well-executed. Space is comfy, and food is really affordable (an Arepa will run you 4-6.50; two of us each had two and split a salad and were plenty full). I had the camarones (filled with fresh and large shrimp!) and the Italo-Venezolana (my favorite, overflowing with delicious guayanes cheese and punctuated with tasty sweet plantains). BYO is a plus, and the owner/server was incredibly friendly and accommodating, even asking us at the end if there was anything he could do to improve the arepas (and said we could always customize them in the future, too!).
