Had dinner on July 11, 2014 and the octopus and pasta were really outstanding. the portion of the pasta main course was smallish, but the taste was truly excellent.

Ate there with a friend last week before going to a concert in Harlem and we were delighted with the food, service, and price. Will be back--often!

Family own and run restaurants like Arco. Daniele and Francesa have offered up a little touch of the home country not only with delicious dishes (kale salad, yes; Alisanzas Di Sardegna, yes; semifreddo, yes, yes, yes) but with their personal touch. They are there on the floor night after night tending diners, and they have opened their doors to the community. Their staff is down to earth and attentive. The food is great value. The only downside to Arco is that it is off the beaten path of Bway and folks don't see it or think of it. Worth the detour.

I lived in Italy 7 years and rarely do I get that gastronomic excitement that I used to take for granted. The handmade gnocchetti alla montanara were melt in your mouth good, with a creamy bacon sauce that was tasty without being heavy. The semifreddo (chilled cake) we had for dessert was nothing short of exciting. If you like authentic Italian food, you will be thrilled by this place. I don't live near this place but I would travel far to eat there. Memorable and delightful.

Very good food by real Italian people from Sardinia in this pleasant recently opened restaurant. However, portions are too small for the Upper West Side, which we know so well. They should also bring the wine list with the menu.
