Great time!
This place was amazing! There was no wait for a table at 8pm on a Saturday night! The waiter kept coming back to make sure everything was okay. The sushi pieces were huge and best of all our whole meal was under $50 bucks. You can't do better than that.

Great Neighborhood spot
This is the best sushi restaurant in the neighborhood. The delivery is really speedy. The restaurant atmosphere is a little clubby, but sit at the bar and youll enjoy yourself!

Good Delivery Sushi
We've ordered delivery sushi a few times and it's probably the best in the Murray Hill area. I'm not sure I'd go to this place in person but delivery is worth a try.

great
As always, we look at menupages before going to any restaurant. The reviews were mixed so with hesitation we went to Aquamarine this evening. Great service and really good food is our experience and we totally recommend this place!

Pretty good
We had a pretty good dinner at this place. For the atmosphere, the prices were pretty reasonable. We went on a Thursday night and the place was pretty packed. We thought the pork and the beef were the best. Also, the hot green tea was pretty good. After we finished dinner, the waitress came and started taking all the plates off the table...that was a bit rude. I guess I would go back to the place although I would hesitate due to the rudeness of the wait staff.

pedestrian quality in the dark
The first thing one notices -the place is dark. The bar area has nice and colorful backlights, but the rest of Aquamarine is too dark. Is it to encourage "intimacy" or not to let you see what's on your plate? On my plate, I was surprised to uncover a very thick bed of penne pasta artfully disguised under a tiny piece of Chilean seabass that also came with a bowl of rice. Was pasta with rice worth over $20? I doubt it. Appetizers were nothing special, either. Overall - mediocre.

It's gone downhill
Loved it when it opened before they took on the space next door and renovated it to like three times the original size. The quality of the sushi is not as good as it was certainly not as good as it should be for their prices. The staff was nicer and more attentive when it was smaller as well. They seemed to have chosen volume over quality. It used to be one of our favorite neighborhood places. Now we don't even consider it an option anymore, unfortunately.
