Fantastic, Fresh Seafood
Aquagrill was fantastic. It's exactly what I wanted in a seafood place .. a place for simple, good seafood. I love it when seafood restaurants serve the food perfectly seasoned, but not so much to take away from the taste of the seafood. The dishes were perfectly balanced. If you're an oyster fan, Aquagrill has a great [select]ion. Our table shared many appetizers and dishes, and everything was delicious. For the food quality and taste, the pricing is very reasonable, although not inexpensive. The service was excellent also. I will definitely return.

This is great seafood
Whenever we come back to NY from moving to Florida, we must go to the Aquagrill. The tuna tartare appetizer, scungilli salad and thos eoysters are A+ Anything is great. As for the complaint the person had for $17 for a Martini...Anyone who would complain about this place on the cost of a Martini should stick to Bennigans.

Left a bad taste in my mouth
My finace and I stopped in last night for a drink and some food at the bar. The Oysters were great, and the food was good too though a little salty. The only problem with the evening was that when we got the bill my Tanqueray martini was $17!!! Not the way that we wanted to end what otherwise was a good meal.

the perfect meal
After our wonderful meal last night, I can't wait to go back! It was perfection in every way. The mussel soup was extraordinary, we both had the cod (which I would order again), and the chocolate walnut cake. I'm not even a dessert lover and this was unbelievable. It was not inexpensive, but worth every penny for a memorable meal!

A Winning Combination of Food+Service
Aquagrill seems to pack them in morning, noon and night. The casual neighborhood feel, solid food, good service and easy on the wallet prices explain why. Nothing overly ambitious, just fresh seafood simply prepared make for a fun and satisfying dining experience.

Exceptional
My favorite seafood place in the city, and more specifically Soho, was Lure - until last night when I ate at Aquagrill. The food and service exceeded all of my expectations. I had the truffle crusted chattam cod w/ wild mushroom ravioli and my boyfriend had the pompano (a special that night) we also split two appetizers: soft shell crab with a spicey orange sauce and the main lobster salad w/ fresh greens, a TON of chilled lobster, avacado, and ruby grapefruit. we also split the manhattan clam chowder. Lets break down the value for this one: thats three appetizers, two main courses, and two johnny walker's - only $130 - worth every penny - in fact so good I would have paid more! We were also treated to a taste of salmon tartar and petite fours as compliments from the chef. This place is amazing and you are just a silly silly person if you pass this one up!
